Is this a ****ing beauty contest ? I was watching the Hudders-Derby game as I posted - yours wasn't there the last time I looked at the thread. Anyone got a cigar for the man ?
It's the second time it's happened within a few days, thought I was invisible or on ignore. No need to get your knickers in a knot.
I put no-one on ignore. Presumably I responded similarly to another one of your posts recently - can't recall, but if it was related to a timing issue and you trying to claim a "scoop", then fair game. Totally pointless point-scoring exercise. If it gives you satisfaction, I'll desist. You're the man
Crystal Palace have signed former England and Chelsea defender Gary Cahill on a two-year deal. Brighton sign striker Neal Maupay from Brentford for a reported £20m on a four-year contract.
Maupay looked very good against us at their place (although maybe that’s damning him with faint praise!)
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham There’s still time for a late twist but as things stand #hcafc do not expect to lose Jarrod Bowen or Kamil Grosicki before Thursday’s deadline
A fee has been agreed between Arsenal & Bordeaux for the transfer of Laurent Koscielny, the price is around €5m.
Lucas Joao is having a medical today at Reading ahead of a permanent move from Sheffield Wednesday. The fee is believed to be around £5m. Barnsley make club record bid for Legia Warsaw striker Sandro Kulenović. Arsenal's loan bid for Juve defender Daniele Rugani is under threat from a £30m bid from Wolves. Gonçalo Cardoso is having his medical at West Ham ahead of his move from Boavista.
If this stays true, this transfer window will be a million times better then I ever thought and beats any signing we could have made
via BBC Sky Sources: Bournemouth in talks with Liverpool over a deal for Harry Wilson. Latest on SSN.
Sort of see the viewpoint, but a different take on it ....... So far, 12 out, 6 in of which 1 sent straight out, so effectively 5 in. ... from a squad that was already lacking, and with at least 1 (MH), maybe more, still likely to go before the end of August. No Bowen sale = no new owners. Of course, no guarantee that a Bowen sale brings new owners but it surely increases the probability significantly (c. £20 mill debt v's c. £40 mill post Harry sale). Even with Bowen (and Grosicki) we will likely be around mid-table at best. So we face the prospect of a nothing season with the ****s still as owners. Sorry to say, but I think I'd rather see him sold (for around £20 mill) in the hope we get new owners. And unless we make a handful of quality signings in the next couple of days, which looks doubtful but let's see, then I don't see how anyone can be happy with this window (including GMcC if he's honest). Then again, could have been worse for sure. Of course, maybe better to wait until Friday morning and see how things pan out, but it's a message board which would be pretty boring if we all just waited until after events before sharing our thoughts, opinions and feelings (like let's wait until the season is over before we say 'owt!!).
