I guess how much we will need to spend will depend on the clubs ambition. For me it should be constant improvement, we need to ensure that we ring fence money for our commitments first and spend any surplus fund on development of the club. So if we finish in 17th for example then additional funds will mainly need to go on the team, however if the players we currently have can make the step up then maybe additional funds should go on increasing our ground's capacity, which of course would be as a one off cost, as going forward increased attendance, should cover any increased running costs.
Here's a fun one: ITFC have announced their starting lineup on Instagram - with Dozzell starting. Clearly it's an outdated graphic given that he didn't travel - but it might indicate it's for transfer reasoning rather than a result of a knock picked up last weekend. If he was touch and go on fitness, you'd have expected him to travel then have a late fitness test.
There is also the fact that clubs gain a reputation for paying over the odds. I think Villa would buy me at the moment if I was hyped enough. Certainly I am better at my job than Mings who is not worth a quarter of what they persuaded themselves they should pay for him!!
Oxcanary is the best damned player I've ever seen, like a hybrid of Messi, Pele and Grant Holt. He would dance rings around PL defenders and does a lot of great work for charity but doesn't like to talk about it. Bah!
New rumours!! https://www.estadiodeportivo.com/se...ier-valvula-escape-amadou-gnagnon/236877.html Joris Gnagnon (22 year old French CB at Sevilla )and Ibrahim Amadou (26 year old French DM/CB at, err, Sevilla). Sounds like we're more interested in Amadou, who is valued at €6-8m by Sevilla. Google translate rather suggests a loan-to-buy deal, but it's a poor translation.
Amadou would seem to be the most likely possibility, given that he can play as a DM or CB. Hard to tell if there's anything to it but if there is, at 26, he's a good age. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibrahim_Amadou Seems strange, but it could be a SW style deal on a loan with a view to a permanent if it works out and we stay up.
Amadou's base value is rated at £6.3m on TransferMarkt: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ibrahim-amadou/profil/spieler/205503 Sevilla paid £12.96m for him a year ago. Apparently he can play at DM, CM or either side as CB. Hope this happens.
General, your flattery and keen insight(sic) are nothing short of inspirational. You should become our far sighted shrewd and inspirational manager - no wait!

This is the first significant rumour since Byram, so hopefully it has legs. The Pinkun team remarked recently that so far none of the summer signings have arrived without an earlier rumour, even if Byram rumours surfaced just 12 hours before he was announced. That feels unusual compared to previous Webber business, perhaps highlighting the increase spotlight the Prem brings. I know nothing about the player, but as always trust Webber. The fee seems remarkably high for NCFC though. Perhaps another late move when Sevilla realise they've got no better options. Might be a late night for Webber on Thursday.
I believe the window closes at 5pm, so no late night moves DHC, but maybe a busy afternoon for him and Rhodes.
