The reason the kit is delayed is because the strands of material holding it together were incorrect.

    Edit: Wrong thread.

Said it on the pre-season thread, but should've probably said it here...

    ---

Also, the kit actually looks nice when watching on a broadcast. Just a shame about that awful black block at the top of the shirt itself.

As a kit, it looks good. Always a fan of Saints in hooped socks. <ok>

Found this on Facebook....... Someone from the club said kit delays are manufacturing issues with colour leakage from shirt to the badge.

When I was chatting with Martin Semmens in Macau I asked him when the new kit would be available. He said he was going to Baltimore next week (week before last) to try and sort it out, and hopefully it wouldn’t be too long. It seemed rude to ask him to elaborate...

I saw earlier that the reason for the delay in the kits is because Under Armour refused to produce them because at the time LD Sports wasn’t a valid company. Not sure whether there’s any truth to this, would have thought they’d have managed to solve the issue by now though.

Edit - hence why UA are selling the kit sponsor-less on their site.

Why would Under Armour care whats printed on them? Maybe if they were worried they wouldn't get paid or something.

And it looks like LD sports have a new about us page on their website, they have a whole 22,000 fans on social media!:

"We are a media company specializes in the field of sports. We thrive to be the best in the industry by delivering exclusive and unique content right to our users.

We operate mainly from Asia and having experts from the fields have us the competitive edge we needed. Graphic designers, web developers, full video production crews and more to having state of the art facilities we are confident that we are more than capable to deliver our products and services at the best quality. Instead of reporting on sports news, gossip and more like the others, we separate ourselves from the norm by crafting our own content from a different perspective of the sports with exclusive in brand game shows, youtube star appearances, live broadcast, Q&A Sessions, vlogs, unboxing, reviews and so much more.

With our ever-growing fanbase of 22,000 and counting fans on Weibo we are excited to launch our first official website to the public. We are grateful to be able to partner with Southampton FC for the upcoming seasons as we know we will be creating history together."
