its back n badderer than ever. New manager, welcome Terry, new players and concessions are back. Football gotta love it. Match facts Swansea City are winless in their previous four league meetings with Hull (D1 L3) since winning 3-1 in a Premier League clash in April 2015. This is the third league meeting between Swansea and Hull on the opening day of the season - the Tigers won the other two, in 1929 (1-0) and 2010 (2-0). This is only the second time in the past 13 seasons Swansea are starting a league season at home - they lost the other game against Manchester United in August 2013. Hull - 3-1 losers against Aston Villa last season - haven't lost on opening day in consecutive league seasons since August 2007. Six of the previous seven permanent Swansea managers have won their first league game in charge - the exception was Bob Bradley in October 2016 against Arsenal. Hull manager Grant McCann has won all three of his opening day league games, winning in 2016-17 and 2017-18 with Peterborough and 2018-19 with Doncaster. We're gonna get off to a flyer here. We will win 3-1
I'm unconvinced with our general defending at the back and in midfield. I fear a bit of a thumping today....
Quill used to do this till he became all alcoholic and not arsed!! Which I’d tried to tell him was the prerequisite for the job!!
Can't believe we still have Bowen and Grosicki, should be too much for them. 3-1 to the mighty Tigers
Did he say that Bowen and Kamil have two to three years left? I'm sure the latter (3 years) is wrong, but do we have 1 year options making the one year left, two?
Good luck, but let's see. The first match is always unusual and too emotional. There are goals smelling around. Home team has no right to lose, Hull City too. My bet it's gonna be 2-2.
I've really no idea what to expect today, I would be happy with a draw, but you never know, might just sneak a cheeky win, fingers crossed.
According to various internet sources, it seems that both Bowen and Grosicki's contracts expire at the end of the season, but the club has a year option on both. Suppose with Kamil, only promotion (or a club takeover - gasp), would see that happen.
