Webster gone for £22m, good business but sorry to see him go, all the best to the fella. https://www.skysports.com/football/...ghton-agree-22m-fee-for-bristol-city-defender BREAKING: Brighton & Hove Albion agree club record deal for Bristol City's Adam Webster https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/breaking-brighton--hove-albion-3165161
Lot of money for championship player, let's hope we are able to do a few more decent signings....Good player, will be missed..
Inevitable in the circumstances he would go, good luck to him Baker , if fit , would be fine, however too much of a sick note, Wright is good cover but not good enough replacement in my view, Vyner I would put as similar to Kelly last season , Moore I don’t know enough about either similar to Vyner or Loan to top end League 1, or bottom championship, so my view is we need a quality replacement. and would use some of the money to push the boat out for top end championship striker.
just seen our bank manager, carrying a suitcase with £50 notes bulging out of it- heading for heathrow,..
You and the swans have generated some cash between you this summer. Just need the right recruits now. Think you are more likely to get them than they are.
Man Utd have now apparently agreed to a deal with Maguire, which will start the 'domino' effect that will see Webster leave in the next 24-48 hours for sure!
You do realise Gayle is on 60k a week, plus valued at 12 million don’t you? I will wait for you to do the sums on how much that is an year.
The £12m fee wouldn’t be an issue, the wages would though. I doubt we could, or should go above £40k per week. Also I don’t know what plans Steve Bruce has for him, but I for one would love to see him at the Gate in a City shirt. LJ did say a signing he was looking at would be expensive, here’s to hoping it is Gayle. Just watched Woodgate’s pre match interview and I think it’s fair to say that he sees Assombalonga as a major player for them this season, so I think that link is dead.
I reckon we should do all we can either season loan and goal related bonus or purchase and performance related bonus. The would be the key to the prem
struggling with a nasty virus which has totally ruined the R&W holiday. First day of recovery following an emergency operation in Sofia, and I read this. Stress is the last thing I need right now. That and the thunderstorm crashing and banging......
And even his goal was a real keeper howler, from a very soft shot by him. Britt was kept very very quiet by Luton tonight.
His goal was a shocker. Penalty was a shocker. Looked nothing special but it's only 1 game. Great game btw. City v Leeds on live here Sunday morning. I trust the Lord will allow that as an excuse to miss church.....
Sorry to hear that R&W. Hope you're on the mend . Dont stress, its only football. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
But I was told he’s guaranteed promotion. (Still struggling to understand why that’s true, surely if it was Boro and Florest would already be in the Prem)
