Having not bought any galacticos for a while and sold Ronaldo for £100m or thereabouts, they're actually okay on FFP. Their income is over £700m, so unless they try to buy Neymar or Mbappe, they've got little to worry about.

I will settle for one 1 exciting day (hopefully by Monday) where we sign a couple of players and then we can watch the window wind down with no worries and maybe get a late surprise to make our window complete.

Ive noticed how its gone from 'going to be an exciting 2 weeks' to exciting 10 days...now we are at the exciting 6 day stage.

There’s still time, but it’s certainly running out. We don’t really know how far along the journey the “ins” and “outs” are, but they’re gonna need to be somewhat advanced, otherwise I just can’t see how the potential volume of deals required can get over the line in time.
There’s definitely going to be a domino effect between players and clubs, but it also feels like we’ve got our very own complicated scenario to contend with once this overall domino effect kicks into gear.
Fernandes in? Lo Celso in? Sessegnon in?
Eriksen out? Toby out? Rose out? Potentially a lot of high profile complicated business there. Do we have the time to pull off the necessary?
I can’t help but feel it may be underwhelming come deadline day. Maybe 1 in, but someone like Eriksen leaving that prevents us becoming stronger over all.

Is there no part of you that’s doubtful, especially after last summer?

 

Tis why Pochettino is in PNP mode.
He is obviously agitated in recent interviews (that his desired incomings
are not going to happen due to < standard > Spurs transfer machinations) .

If he was ITK that the negotiations are far closer to completion (not going
down to the last day etc) than whatever the hacks and haters claim, then
IMHO he would be a lot more cheery about the hack questions.
