Have to try and take Battash on at that silly price. So I've gone for Big Brothers Pride 7/1. Trainer 3 winners from 4 runners at Goodwood. There's been money for it today, has halved in price.

Good run from Escobar at 10/1 in third. Couldn't quite pick them up and perhaps the ground was quick enough today. I was looking at Beat Le Bon last night but tips from Pricewise and other places meant the 14/1 was long gone this morning and there was the new trip to consider. The Hannon horse did well and picked up nicely today, the jockey said that it was the first time he had shown such a good turn of foot and he feels the horse will continue to come forward. Mojito was a silly price at 10/3 in such a competitive race and how many times have we seen this notion that a horse is 3 lbs well in on his new Handicap mark under the 3 lb penalty today theory proved to be a false guide?

Dark Vision was poor, while the well backed and fancied Indeed ran a shocker, beating only one rival home. Indeed was another "Well in under the penalty" candidates today. Well in? Well ill more like!

Was going to suggest a dean ivory 1-2 in the 730 newmarket, but daddy’s daughter a non runner , just seen he’s done the 1-2 in the 5 40 , winning with a 16/1 shot 8/1 second , yard will be rolling in it !!!
