Apparently Boris has found a magic money tree, there must be several because JC found one too, I wish I knew where they were I’d buy us a striker , a holding midfielder and a RB .

In the last 24 hours, Boris has visited First Minister for Scotland and First Minister for Wales, who both have since come out to publicly slated Boris adding there is no mandate to leave on a no deal.

As a result of this, the pound has dropped dramatically!

Boris has now come out to stop the pound from dropping further to give re-assurance and try to get the pound to bounce back up. He said he are not aiming for a no deal and he doesn't think that's where we will end up. He added we do have to plan for a no deal so we can be in the best place possible to be ready for it, in case it does happen. All this is to give re-assurance to build up the pound again. I am sorry but although I am not keen on Boris, I love how he does not hang around. He was quick to get his team into place. He was quick to visit First Ministers to discuss his plans in hope to get them on board but obviously knowing they won't budge on their stance but he still had to do it though. They can't complain that Boris never tried with them. And now he has been quick to offer re-assurances to stop the pound dropping further to get it going again despite the negative public thoughts of the First Ministers, who wants it to go wrong so they hope Boris will drop no deal. They are playing dangerous games and Boris can see this. Well done Boris.

Also Boris has now come out saying its in the EU's hands if it is to be a no deal or not. Remove the backstop and its a deal that we all want. Don't remove the backstop then the EU will cause the no deal to happen. The decision is theirs meaning the fault and blame is on them. Boris won't go chasing the EU. If the EU want to talk, its down to them. Well done Boris, finally a PM with balls and passion.

Thing is, we were never gonna get a good deal.........just not possible......cus if we did, half the other countries in the EU will want to come out too.
We just need to come out......deal or no deal..

While I agree it’s the way to go, force the issue if you like , or else it will constantly be kicked down the road, it’s going to be interesting watching Bo Jo and Co forcing it through Parliament as there are lots who will try any means to stop it.

I remember watching it when you posted it, she worded it much better than I could, essentially the views expressed exactly reflect mine.

I don't wish to be opposite to any leave supporters but I'll take anything to get us out, we are being manipulated by some very clever remain operators, they will twist and turn, flip and flop to cheat us out of our vote and claim legality in parliamentary actions.

I don't care if Boris shuts the bloody place and them down, let's just get out, take off the manacles of the EU and breathe some fresh air.

Boris, just get us out, no ifs, no buts.

The one JC found is the most obvious one. It's called taxing people and companies properly.

Whether he'd actually do it properly would be bloody debatable mind.

I've enjoyed a bit of time away from here. Who wants a fight today? :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:

Each side will berate the other for spending , whilst justifying their own , apart from Brexit I disagree with Bo Jo on practically everything. On the whole I agree with Labour bar Brexit , should there be a GE before Brexit which way to vote, that is the question.
I’m torn Rob convince me, do I vote with my head or my heart?

I don't think I'm convincing anyone in here and vice versa :emoticon-0102-bigsm. In some ways I'm not sure that having Labour or the Tories in power makes that much difference with regard to Brexit. What will be will be, if we don't leave in October I doubt it will be due to which Government is in power. As we've seen, loads of Labour MP's and are both leave and remain, as is the same with the Tories, so it doesn't really make a difference when it comes to leaving in October. God knows really.

Whichever you’re views I would rather it’s done sooner rather than later so we can at least try and move onto other pressing issues, We don’t want it dragging on and being kicked into the long grass. Either leave and piss off remainers or remain and piss of leavers, just get it done.

Personally I’ve found it very odd. and strangely troubling, as someone who agrees with Labour on most issues, and even the ones I don’t , I trust their intentions, to fundamentally disagreeing with them on a major issue to the point I have genuinely questioned whether my trust over the years has been misplaced.
Rightly or wrongly I genuinely believe some Labour MPs will do anything to block the will of the people, I know it’s not just Labour MPs , but I expect better of Labour.
JC should have stated his views too , which doesn’t help, and lived or died by them, he’s not been slow in the past to state his own views , often despite being contrary to Labour policy.
You may not like Boris,( and I don’t) but at least he’s leading from the front. (Before anyone points out Boris’s view on this changes with the wind, I’m well aware it does ), he’s at least stated where he stands at this present time.

Yeah I agree with every single thing in your post about the Boris bit, but that's fair enough. People on both Labour/Tory, left/right, remain/leave are all so disenchanted now it's ridiculous.

As for Boris, I can't agree with that. Someone said he's the sort of person to see which way the crowd is running, then sprint to the front and shout 'follow me!', which is the best description I've heard. Yes it's a really **** bunch of politicians but somehow he's managed to make himself one of the worst. It wasn't long ago that Dominic Raab didn't know where France is and dismissed leaving without a deal as 'Project Fear' and we have cabinet members now in favour of bringing back the death penalty and being against gay marriage. Times are bleak...

Great post though, I just couldn't not mention that bit, sorry. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
