What has international level got to do with anything? Most PL teams are better than the vast majority of international teams. I know you don't think losing Maguire is that big a blow because you have Croatia's 5th choice centre back and Turkey's starting centre back but this isn't a great way to judge a player.

Oh so he won a header, who was that against? I didn't actually watch much of the World Cup as I find international football ****.

Yes the potential which he suddenly realised over night on his flight up to Liverpool when they signed him, he was gash before then.

The point was you're claiming that Harry is better now than Virgil was then and tried backing that up because he's had 'top 10 finishes' at Leicester

Only once you realised that we finished 6th under him (and therefore achieved more than Harry as at yours) you moved the goalposts. Just admit you ****ed up mate.

I said he had achieved more pre transfer ... and I stand by that ... he has had an excellent baptism in the Prem and played a key role in the world cup run ... that you disagree is fine mate ... but dry the tears ...I'll leave it there ... <laugh>

How many times did you watch Virgil at us btw as I'm sure you said recently other teams fans wouldn't know as much.

I've seen him absolutely dominate European matches for us but never mind, Harry had a top ten finish <diva>

Virgil was already very near the complete article when we sold him btw.

You sold Kante, Drinkwater and Mahrez to bigger clubs whilst Maguire could be another.

‘Your way’ is the same as any other club whose players are targeted by bigger teams.

Kante had a release clause, Drinky couldn't get in the side and Mahrez was made to wait a further 12 months before we sold a player that cost us £450k for £60 million ... we are not talking Bale, Berbatov or Modric here mate ... our owners could teach Levy and Uncle Joe a thing or two ...<cheers>

Only an element of wum ... but I'll put it in big letters if you are still missing the point I made at the outset ... if Maguire goes to United it will be mainly for his potential and addressing an identified need ... NOT for what he has yet achieved in the game ... EXACTLY the same as VVDs transfer to Liverpoool ... I backed that up by saying that Maguire may even have achieved more at this point than VVD had at the time he went to Liverpool ... you girls then collectively pissed yer stripey knickers and started blubbing before putting me firmly in my place by quoting all of VVDs amazing achievements whilst with you ... the medals, the trophies, the world cup qualifiers, Great British Bake Off finalist ... I stand corrected and willingly and most humbly accept my shame <laugh>
