An overrated player playing for an overrated coach at an underachieving club, sounds like a good match to me.

Believe the players have a couple of rest days, so I imagine this is the time for Ralph to take stock on the final transfer push.

Apart from the Centre back situation, it seems like other transfers are sale dependent.
Bet we’ve had some low ball bids on players which we might be starting to get tempted to accept.
It’s going to be a hectic last week or so

 

Off the top of my head, Diamond Edwards, Romello Mitchell, Benny Smales-Braithwaite and another guy from Plymouth or Yeovil (?). There's probably another I'm missing, so yeah, five academy boys.

 

Austin, Lemina, Cedric and Forster/McCarthy I think are the important ones to shift as they’re quite high earners and have some value (Forster maybe not). Elyounoussi and Hoedt would also be nice to move on but at this stage we’d be lucky if we sell Austin and Lemina. I think keep Boufal unless we can sign someone like Bowen.

Four of our five centre backs are Hoedt, Yoshida, Stephens and Vestergaard and that is unfair on Ralph

RE squad numbers, I thought they’d have released the latest by now for shirt sales. I presume Adams takes no.10 from Austin? Ings could have it leaving 9 for Adams too. 8 is free - JWP for me, although PEH deserves it. Maybe he could have 6 if Hoedt goes. Redmond also deserves a ‘good’ number, 11 from Elyounoussi? I know they are meaningless to many, but some players really do care about the shirt number and we’ve taken numbers off players before.
