Have to be 'new' sleepers though. Reclaimed ones are full of all sorts of crap!

Using this thread as I found it using the search function.

I’m also looking three to four car tyres. I’m making a home made punch bag and they seem ideal.

If anyone has knows anyone who would be happy for me to collect a few that would be great.

    Pretty much any country lane?

Good for growing rubber plants I guess.

Is it appropriate on a historic thread to go back to the ‘Chazz has a spare tyre’ jokes?

    Asking for a (Dutch) friend

You can build your beds from the festering corpses of pox ridden whores, as long as you use a plastic liner and ensure good drainage.

Muff mulch - there's an idea. Without plastic is the word.

Ladies, probably not a good idea to cross swords with Dez.

Reading some of the original ideas I have been inspired to go out into the garden and try and create some planters. I have a slab of old concrete I might try and see if I can use a ball peon hammer to change its shape a little, and put some nice daffodils in (I have to put daffodils in as I don’t know what any of the others are called)

Failing that the railway line nearby does seem to have too many bits of metal in my opinion, I could borrow a couple of lengths of track and see if I can bring it home and bend it into some sort of garden artwork.

Don’t be seen using a hammer anywhere near Dez’s tyres!

Its not Dez’s tyres I’m concerned about using a ball Pein hammer on, its his Pox ridden whores especially with them being corpses....
