Ozil and another Arsenal player were threatened with knives in a failed car jacking.
The other player apparently fought off the attacker bare handed.

I knew the gooners were fed up with Ozil but ****ing hell...I thought we were harsh on Campbell :bandit:

What a **** mate Ozil is.

Rivalry aside, I rate Kolasinac there, he was ready for a scrap and at one point tried using the car door to smash one of them but then Ozil shuts that door like “nah boys, kill him I’m cool”.
    Pussy.

Lock her inside and/ or tell her to drive off. Can’t leave your mate like that, just wrong for me.

Huge amount of respect to Kolasinac though. He was doing his best to protect everyone even at the risk of his own life.

Bit of a split second reaction though, he probably thought he just needed to do what he could to protect his wife.

Fair play to Kolasinac though, looked like he was going to tear their heads off and eat them <laugh>

Those split second reactions show a person’s true colours though.

Kolasinac has my utmost respect, here’s there trying to protect everyone.

Even the way Ozil grabs the door away from Kolasinac is just ****ing snakey.

I’ve been in that sort of situation before. On two different occasions. One when the knife was pointed at me, the other when at a mate. It’s not nice and it’s scary as hell but you always protect your mates and you never leave your mate behind. I could never live with myself.

Sorry fella's but just watched the vid and thought what would have been my reaction, instead of driving off, i'd have seriously run the fookers over. There was clear opportunity to reverse into one of the guys, I would not have hesitated for one second to use my vehicle as a defence weapon.

I think calling it 'snakey' is a crock of **** tbh mate. If Ozil had his wife in the car and he was trying to protect her, then that was the decision he made. He was never going to jump out and leave her in the car and the car open for the thieves to jump in with her.

Fair play to Kolasinac though, that's the only story here really.

It’s the fact that he does nothing at all to help Kolasinac. The guy at one point is either trying to use the door to slam into the attacker or use it as a shield to protect himself, Ozil grabs the door away and then leaves him.

If you don’t think that’s snakey that’s your call, I definitely think it is.

Yeah it doesn't look good I admit. But I can understand why he reacted the way he did if he had his wife sitting next to him.

Whilst I agree with this in principle, I can recall two occasions when I decided to stand by a mate, only to receive a proper kicking while the mate took the first opportunity to scarper. On one occasion, my idiot mate shoulder barged some other lads in the street for no reason, and when they reappeared with back up I hesitated, decided I had to jump in, and got battered along with another mate who was with us. When me and him were picking ourselves up it gradually dawned on us that the guy who started it had ****ed off and left us to it <laugh>

Very few people carried knives when I was a youth, thank ****. Made it a bit easier to be brave.

Advice once given to me by a 4th Dan karate expert was that if someone pulls a knife, run like ****.

The things you do for mates, eh?! Lol.

Most ironic thing for me is that I live in Tottenham, a place rife with knife crime yet both occasions where a knife/ weapon has been present I was far from the area!

I got stabbed in the cheek when I was about 17. Was while I was in 6th form. Had a couple Somali mates and after school they got jumped by a bunch of Turks over the field outside our school, jumped in to help them and at the time I never noticed what had happened due to the adrenaline, after the fight finished my mate noticed the blood. I’m not sure if it was an actual knife in the end as the gash wasn’t that big but it’s left a small scar to this day.

Then when I was about 20-21, couple of hooded pricks surrounded me as I left a pub to go to a shop. Thankfully my mates were leaving the pub as well but knew I wanted to go shop so they were close behind. Nothing really happened, my mates caused the hooded guys to run off once they realised they were outnumbered themselves.
