Leave it out Mr ban Gerwen, you have said that before. If he invited you on you'd sign up quicker than @Clb74 ringing me to pay up my breakfast bet.
Looks like the player we missed out on (to Sunderland) is Marquis... no big loss in my eyes, I am reasonably sure he doesn't particularly like CAFC..
Could Deji Oshilaja play the midfield role that Bielik played for us last season? He seems comfortable on the ball and seems to have an eye for a pass?
Getting in strikers and creative mids is always going to be the problem under Y.T (Yellow Teeth). They are more expensive and we will have to compete against other clubs. The best I'm hoping for is that we are a stuffy side, difficult to beat, full of hard-working players who will make it difficult for opposition teams to play.
Not606 have officially asked Bielik to return to #CAFC for the coming season.... we are awaiting his response.
Chicago Addick, usually reliable, says that YT has turned down a derisory offer from Boro, which must have amazed them. He goes on to say they are sure to come back with an offer which will be accepted. We also know that Bowyer will not see a penny of any fee. That would get in the way of YT's dream- to break even.
10 days to the start of the league, and we have no real strikers (not sure about Taylor at this level), what on earth is going on?? Dead and buried before end of the year.......!!!
To be fair, it’s the same every summer under this Belgian prick. Remember the opening day last season at Sunderland - Bowyer couldn’t fill the bench. The midfield is a real concern at the moment and I can see a few teams over running us as things stand. I know Fulham are second favourites to go up, but they have players on over £30,000 a week and a front 4 that costs over £50m. We are going to get some tankings this season.
He was good a few years ago. I heard that we were bringing in somebody yesterday but I got that horribly wrong as the announcement was changing the North stands name to the Covered End. No need for that as all true Charlton Supporters call it The Covered End.
