Saratoga 5:45
VOSNE ROMANEE

one more twist of the knife.

I see they are running him on Lasix. Bit controversial. Amazed also to also see old boy Winston C in the field.

Meanwhile, loved the line in the preview of the heat that I’ve just read ‘the race will be started by Mike ‘Pup’ McMillan’. Why don’t our journos use quality lines like that?!? Or indeed our starters have nicknames like that?!?

Couldn’t find the thread so I’ll put it on here. An update on sea of class.it turned out she couldn’t be saved as it turned out out she had tumours also. The long term prospect of her going to stud were zero. Very sad. Just thought I’d let you know.

That should be an interesting race to watch - ATR racecard has Ross Geraghty down to ride both Belisarius and Portrade for Elizabeth Voss so I wonder will he be riding circus style standing with one leg on the back of each

Bedrock would be a interesting runner in that Saratoga race if retaining it's early season hurdles form when it won a few conditions races in Ireland, hasn't raced since November though.

The Tour de France keeps going despite the heat .............................. but yes, Southwell ought to be cancelled. It is currently 33°C at the track <yikes>

hi fellas!

southwell,1 30:

WINDING ROE ran a very good race at cartmel last time out,in second, and this slightly shorter trip might be a good idea,as he travelled well for a long way there.the winner has since scored again very easily,so the form looks solid enough..

southwell,2 00:

BUCKEYE SHAN is a token choice,as hes at least in form, which cant be said of too many others here, and there seemed to be no fluke about his win last week, and he can run off the same mark today, before being reassessed..

yarmouth,2 35:

the filly nirodha sets a good standard, and i go mostly with experience, but RIVER CAM could be a good bit better in time, and her yard does enjoy a really good season, especially with their youngsters,so she gets the nod today..

Silver Flash looks a decent renewal, cant believe Windracer was 9/2 last night <yikes>

Could be a serious Moyglare horse.

Windracer slow away and never went a yard, she had beaten the winner on debut.

Track playing just like the curragh, bag the lead and the race is over.

Shame that more good races being spoiled by a conveyor belt track, you just cant trust the form in the future.
