  1. I've got the roof down on the Mercedes.

Might cruise over to my Chav mate's manor and sink a few snakebites.

Decided just a cafe day today, as currently 35 degrees and forecast to be 37c tomorrow.

Been drinking nice cold draught beer for the last four hours and basically doing fook all with filleted fish and vegetables for lunch.

Walked back for a mere 20 minutes and drenched in sweat...

I live near Sutton so head out along the Old Hull to Hornsea railway line .
Went a bit close to Blacksmiths Coniston last night as it was late .
Go to Bay Horse Arnold Near Long Riston, Wrygarth Inn near Hornsea ,Railway Inn at New Ellerby .
Sometimes out to Leven and Brandesburton .
It's great mate and even going off onto the winding country roads you can go 4/5 miles without a car passing !

I hope you are all surviving the extreme weather back in the UK and remembering to drink plenty of water.

Give it a few more days of British sunshine, and the Eco warriors will be camped up on bridges crossing the Thames, to state how doomed you all are.

However, threat not, by the weekend it will be pissing hard again but the taps will still remain turned off for the foreseeable future.

May God be with you my fellow citizens, i will light a candle in your memory and say a few prayers before bedtime x

It's nice here at the moment, nowhere near 1976 levels of nice and not expected to last as long but still nice.

I’m very grateful to live here. Reading the posts above about sweating your bollocks off on a tram in Croydon remind me why I moved away from London.

It can be pretty wet and wild down here in the winter, but in the summer this place is a real gem.
