Except who was happy with what we had and what had been dished up for the last few years, it may take time to come together but I’m not really bothered
I have to agree with your post. I'm getting ever more worried as the days, news and rumours pass by. If this doesnt work out then god help us!Have we got anyone left? It's literally going to be Queens Park Strangers next season. A couple of years ago I went to one of those fans meetings with Les Ferdinand, He couldn't emphasize enough about stability and how QPR couldn't keep going into every season with so many personell changes. Yet here we are with our biggest churn ever and probably the largest of any club in the top four divisions.

Sadly yesIs it not because of our financial situation?
Sadly yes
We aren't shopping in Poundland even - but a charity shop
But at least we are still shopping
That has made me sad but I do agree with previous comments too about his limited ability.
Seems like a nostalgic bit of QPR has walked out the door.
I feel a bit that way too. It's pretty sad when we have 'one of ours' leaving, to be replaced by a Chelsea loanee.
Do you have a link to Roller's article or how I can find it?Obviously one of the keepers is going out on loan.Kelly has not impressed, Lumley looks better to me, Dieng has not featured.
This new goalie is on a free and is cheap on wages. ...this is the "moneyball Game"
Back to Furlong someone has said on LfW that "Furlong could be a Premier CD, but is actually only a League1 RB".
That is about right in my opinion, he gets caught out too easily by the counterattack, he cannot defend well running back (which is why he should be a CD) but apparently he does not like playing CD and would therefore not fit into Warburtons plan. I suspect he needs a new start, because he has not really pushed on as he should have by now.
Rollercoaster Ranger has written an article saying how this will be the season when FFP hits hardest, due to a really big loss three seasons ago. Once that loss is off our books (at the end of this season...FFP runs in 3 year cycles) we will be a lot healthier. We are trying hard to balance the books
Have you been away Matt?Do you have a link to Roller's article or how I can find it?
I think most of us have come to terms with our constraints but a glimmer of hope would be heartwarming.
Personally, I find the number of loans in the last couple of years the most disconcerting and would love for us to be able to use what we have, improve weak areas with our own players and stop progressing other club's assets with no return (which defeats the buy cheap sell moderately high philosophy). I do appreciate that it might be a short term fix to ensure we can stay in the Championship more comfortably though.
"One of ours" is only marginally more acceptable than "through and through".
Why do we say that certain players are "Rangers through and through" as they're making their way out of the door?
Indeed - a day trip to Lowestoft in June.Have you been away Matt?
Good to see you back mate. Good luck to your wife, that’s a vicious combo. My wife has had pleurisy, can be very nasty indeed.Indeed - a day trip to Lowestoft in June.
I've been locked off the site (it doesn't like password resets it seems) and generally not had much to say of interest when I have got back on (nothing new there).
Wifey has had a strange mix of pleurisy, possible glandular fever and costochondritis (still ongoing) which has occupied a lot of time since March so not really been on here too much as a reader.
I'm back up on the transfer and friendly threads now though so brimming with excitement at a season of raucous mediocrity!

The way we tried to play at Oxford doesn't suggest to me that we're going to park the bus.

According to my sources, Judge was consistently a contender for MOTM for Ipswich after signing in the January window.Looks like we will soon complete the signing of Alan Judge from Ipswich (midfield) and the loan of Dujon Sterling from Chelsea (right back).
