A thread long overdue I think (i think this should be pinned as well). We all love a Friday announcement and we all know how much the cloob love a Friday announcement, so this is it folks. The place to chuck all of your predictions for stuff that is going off.

I'll start the ball rolling for this week with the club record signing of Joe Linton this coming Friday (26th July) for £36m, smashing the previous record we paid to Atlanta for the services of Miguel Almiron (£21m).

Welbeck & Carroll to be signed together. No transfer fees, just a lot of medical bills in the future.

I've just read that Danny Rose, could be heading this way. It was only the other day I read that Barcelona and PSG were interested. His agent obviously failed with touting those moves and moved up the footballing ladder to us!!

Shola has come into the club to manage the players we have out on loan. Correct me if I'm wrong, but have we agreed to have anyone out on loan at present? What a legend he is, paid his entire career and did next to nothing, now has taken the same level to his back room role!

 

Amount of times Shola has been on loan in his career- once.

I think of him as more like the loan manager at banks. He's probably just employed to figure out how the club owe Mike more money.

In Yorkshire terms I predict 'Joel int on' after all and the Friday announcement will be the return of Carroll, an ancient Cabaye and Joe Kinnear as director of "****ing football"

 

Jack Colback offered a lifetime deal and will be utilised as LB, CM, DM, LM, LW and is announced captain.

 

This is his reward for his ballon d'or win tho!! Or more accurately his "balloon from McDonalds" with his happy meal.

 

Danny Rose is a good player and would be a terrific signing in an area we need. But at 29yr old the chances of us spending 15m on him would be slim to none. The other thing is I'm not sure on how his head is. He cut a dejected demotivated figure at times last season and then confirmed his lack of love for the game. Not sure he is cut out for the challenge here.

That's a load of bull, no way are we about to sign two more big names.

 

I'm really interested to know if this was in the plans all along, having consulted this with Rafa beforehand or this is purely a reaction due to Rafa leaving. As we are all aware Joelinton was in the plans while Rafa was with us, I would be really disappointed to find out that the club was willing to spend more money than it ever has before and Benitez decided he'd rather go off to China anyway.

I'm gonna guess that's not the case but, who knows.

A club is nothing without its fans. can the, fat **** not see this like. maybe he has pushed to far this time.

 

I wonder if the only remaining British owned clubs (4or 5 only I believe), also have 'fans' gobbing off about not attending games, putting a negative slant on anything positive, and simply making it all up as they go along in order to maintain the narrative.
Once the Premier League Is all foreign owned, watch the new European Super League happen, and half the remainers playing half their games in different countries.
