All my mates have good jobs they all followed their careers.

I took another option. I ****ed off to Thailand (when the baht was more than twice was it is now) in the mid 2000s

I just decided to go and live a bit.

 

Don't know why, i always thought Thailand was a cheap place to eat and live in.

Much the same with the exchange rate, i can remember when the US dollar was two to the pound.

 

I used to find that when I did that job for a bit down there, would rather be doing the crates of carrots etc. than all the small fiddly bits when you're constantly bending down.

 

In case they get sent somewhere where there’s nothing to put on their chips?

 

Went to visit a friend of mines little town today, middle of the Italian countryside, where local buses are run on electric, the streets are spotless, and its a cafe lifestyle and nothing is too much trouble. Suppose the heat dictates the pace.

The stores sell cigarettes in the US, but I honestly can't recall the last time I saw someone smoking one.

Some people must still smoke because they still sell 'em, but I couldn't say who.

Fooking last time i was over in the States i nearly had a massive fall out with some great huge American guy. My lad had to intervene to stop me going fruit loop at him, it was all over smoking. These fookers stuff their guts full of shhite and want to have an opinion on smokers. The fat twat was clearly younger than me and won't live to see out the next decade by the size of his gut!

 

That's an interesting theory. I had been suspecting KFC as grinding up cigarettes as part of the breading in their chicken... But smokers might be responsible for buying the cigarettes.

 

+10 points if he also chewed chewing tobacco. That's a bit of a fad around here. Not many people smoking... Instead they're chewing and spitting everywhere.
