They always are probably as they exist for no other reason than squeezing even more money off gullible fools fans.
its not really a kit though is it rather a marketing device which gets worn in 1 or 2 games only . One of my pet hates is teams turning up in their 2nd strip just because they are away from home even though it partially clashes with the home team when if they had stayed with their first strip no clash at all .
That was the league cup final and iirc we started the season with only 2 shirts but got to Bournemouth away and realised we couldn't wear the black one so they had to mock up the white one quickly. We could have worn the black one in the final but some senior players suggested that they'd prefer to play in the clubs colours at Wembley and the shirt we wore at Bournemouth. It never went on sale to fans though.
