It could be that he never had any intention of leaving this year and his agent may well have informed any interested parties of that.

Either he plans to go as a free agent, or we make him an offer he can’t refuse.

 

Sessegnon/Exodus Watch
Matt Law from the Torygraph is reporting two things
1.) That we're closing in on finalising a deal for Ryan Sessegnon, quoted as £20m + add-ons
2.) Fulham are interested in two of our players, namely Josh Onomah and GKN

Can it be true? Is somebody actually willing to take GKN off our hands? It's only been two years of trying to offload him...

 

We'll probably buy Sessegnon, loan them N'Koudou to run their social media accounts and flog Onomah to Germany.

If we manage to ****house our way to a swap deal of GKN plus a bit of dough for Sessegnon then I really might start to believe Levy could sell ice to an eskimo.

La Cuarta (whoever they are) report that we sent a delegation to Santiago to negotiate a deal for Colo-Colo striker Ivan Morales, although nothing came of it as we offered £3m while Morales has a £4.5m release clause - although they also gloss over a more likely sticking point, namely the deal would have also seen us gain 60% of Morales' image rights

Honestly, though, this has more than a whiff of the fabrication about it: Morales is 19 and has just the one Chile cap, so the chances of him getting a work permit are minimal, and more than anything else his stats are hardly impressive
2016-17: 15 games, 5 goals and 3 assists
2017-18: 14 games, 3 goals and 0 assists plus a meniscus tear
2018-19: 10 games, 1 goal and 0 assists (albeit it's halfway through the Chilean season right now)

Any other information I've dug up about him comes from Football Manager, which suggests he's Janssen with pace - but also that he'd need at least a season's worth of coaching before he became a viable member of the squad, and we simply can't offer that as we need someone capable of filling in for Harry Kane now and not next season as we already have Troy Parrott in place for that
