Vernon Anita should have signed for Panathinaikos by now but the greedy git wants £700k per year from them so has been told to fk off. His agent is now trying to get him a club in the MLS, so officially still a Leeds player with a year left on his contract. Fingers crossed we offload soon along with LDB
Hearing that this might be a thing as apparently Bielsa is a long time admirer. A player who will never play for Chelsea? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Hector
These stats are most certainly apples v oranges, & Bamford is the only orange. What do I mean? Well, we've only got stats for Bamford's first injury-ridden season, when confidence was low & needed building up. All of the other stats cover their whole Leeds career, including many very productive periods. If you wanted a true comparison, stats-wise, you should only look at their first year in situ. Not convinced that would teach you anything either, apart from the fact that Becchio had a great first season & the rest didn't. Bamford probably comes in second to Becchio, I'm guessing. It cuts both ways, of course, as I wonder how many Becchio would score with the chances we create these days. In fact, any of these players. Ah oh!, how we criticise. I remember Becchio taking pelters - often - for being a fat, lazy barsteward. And yet he was probably the most complete player out of this lot. And supremely confident with it - remember the chipped penalty?
Shhhhh I've seen your keeper. Was it BHA where he managed to push a going out of play shot, into his own net.
What makes you say he'll never play for Chelsea? Just because he's been out on loan for the last 10 years...
Cheers for that. Really enjoyed it. Tought they would have kept the penalty chip to last, though. Ah well, can't have everything ....
Seems we have a match behind closed doors tonight against Al Italmid or something, anyone got translate on as would love to know which 8 first teamers Are playing
My Arabic is a bit ropey, but I'd guess that it's the same team that lined up against Taddy. There isn't anyone else at home. Oh, unless some of our injured players are going to get some time, like Ayling, Shacks, Huffer, BPF (allegedly ), or less likely, Roberts.
