Would guess by number of people who eat it..... chicken. But by tonnage beef...can't be pork due religious reasons....and many people can't have sheep so have goats...
Not chicken. In most countries where they don’t have factory farming chicken is a relative delicacy, primarily raised for eggs. It’s also much tastier, because the chicken has run around a bit and is a bit older. Beef is a very expensive meat even in developed countries, way down the list. Which leaves.....? The meat eaten in most volume is pork. Not just due to China, think of the myriad forms, from bacon and salami to chops and stir fries that we eat it in. But by the most people?
Well, if you name enough animals eventually you’ll get it.......and it’s goat. A lot of people eat a little bit of goat quite frequently, apparently.
I was thinking that it had the potential o be something that was not eaten that much in the UK. Q) According to legend, a goatherd called Kaldi was the first person to make what?
