I'm not really a fan of extending the nanny state BUT all gambling sponsorship should be banned. :steam:

Kilmarnock knocked out of Europe by a bunch of part timers from Wales!

That's all their efforts to finish 3rd last season gone to waste.

They didn't have their first choice keeper. :emoticon-0105-wink: He was busy keeping a clean sheet against Ajax today. (Lost 2-1 with the change of 11 at H-T)

The new Huddersfield shirt with the huge advert for Paddy Power was in fact a wind up. The real one does not have any logo from them on it at all.

Villa making their 9th signing - getting a whole new team almost?

Guess they feel there has to be that much improvement to their squad to compete...

Sheffield United also broken their transfer record 3 times - 10 million for a guy with 3 goals in 60 Premier league games.

    Norwich been pretty quiet though.

So guess all the promoted teams are going about their business in different ways..

    Which one will pay off?

Just doesn't give much hope or confidence to the Villa players that are already there .

None of the new signings sound particularly great either .

Haven't you signed a Swiss striker with a good record ?

We have signed 5 players, Drmic is the striker, we also have a Citeh youngster, Patrick Roberts, and Schalke's goal keeper, both on loan, plus a Scottish winger!

Edit:- sorry, I forgot to add Sam Byram as defensive cover!

I hear what your saying and its all about pressure .Fulham played 5 out of 6 of the top sides away from home 1st .So in the end they had to get pts away from home or take pts off the top 5 as we all know its about getting pts on the board

All rather toxic, either way. I write as someone who once had a view on the subject based on the OT rather than in any semblance common sense, decency or understanding of the natural world. All in an environment where paedophiles have been (almost routinely) hidden and protected in the past. How many years since Justin Fashanu came out? And none since. Another lesson the so-called beautiful game could learn from rugby.

This had completely passed me by.

"Coventry will play their home matches at Birmingham’s ground next season after the club’s owners, the London-based hedge fund Sisu, failed to conclude a deal to stay at the Ricoh Arena with the arena’s operators, Wasps."

Once again the money men get in and ruin a football club.
