No, that’s not what I’m saying which is why I said ‘I seriously don’t know’. I was asking a question worth asking to spark debate and get all over your thoughts on the matter. For me Saiz was a disruptive influence and had to go, not one player wished him well. That was not the case with Jansson where our most experienced player in Pablo stated his disappointment with him leaving so it’s more like a personal issue with Bielsa. I agree with later posts that it’s time to move on.

 

Don’t disagree with that but only point I’d make is from my understanding he didn’t ask for extra holiday, Bielsa got hacked off because he didn’t want to come back early as the others on international duty did. Bielsa took this as a lack of commitment. So if your boss asked you to cut short your pre-booked holiday would you do it if you had the choice?

No you are totally wrong, he had his full time off and refused to come back for training, demanding more time off, Bielsa let him have a few extra days, but he demanded more, and refused to come back,no choice but to get rid. Remember last season, he did the same and wasn't fit to play in first few games.

 

I was going to say the same as chesh that he did the same last year hence the delayed introduction to the season. He sat out our last game and you wonder if Bielsa doubted his original injury, the same as Izzy being frozen out for the entire season, if you want to play in a Bielsa squad you are going to have to play his way and train his way, should he (Bielsa) make slight exceptions or should he be able to handle these type of players better, that's another argument
