Really catchy new LUFC song. Its called 'The King of Elland Road'. Written / sung by LUFC fan Paul Wilson - @paulwillyping
You are too nice for your own good hes not good enough. He got lucky and now thinks hes gordon banks. Cash in while we can.
We never learn, we have previous for letting young up and coming keepers move on and become great players We should have kept O'Connor and Halme too.
So, and I openly admit I stole this as it sparked debate on JA, doesn't 'side before self' also apply to the manager? I seriously don't know. Should we 'weaken' the side because Bielsa saw a destructive influence, not shared it seems by some of his senior players, because he pissed him off?
Great negotiations. We'll sell you (arguably) our best defender. If he gets you promoted and you cash in on (circa) at least £100 million, you can pay us an extra £1.5 million
Side before self is epitomised in what he has done, weeding out the bad apple. The skill is identifying the bad apple. or Was it his enthusiasm what endeared him to the supporters and this covered up for a shortfall in skill Move on, nothing to see here is probably the best advice that has been given on this subject, (ref Shako) and f'all that can be done about it now anyway.
Whether you agree with bielsa's Training methods is one thing. They are strict and many would say overly prescriptive. His approach should never be above criticism. I understand why players wouldn’t like them, especially the parts they see as counter-productive. But, taking bielsa means buying the whole package you can’t let someone do their own thing... or that kind of regime collapses. You need commitment from everybody. Jansson had to go, or everybody would start pulling the same stunts. For all I’ve said on him, I have sympathy with Jansson. But having bielsa means everyone has to buy in or move on. ... as has been said, probably time we all moved on too.
If you told your boss your not starting work on Monday because you have decided your taking extra holidays despite him saying he needs you in this week. How would he respond ?. Leeds pay his wages, if he chooses to play for Sweden should we accept he's not playing first few games for us, the one's who pay his wage ? every other player turned up, if we had done nothing none would turn up next season first week back, all would say we are having extra holidays like Jannson has.
very true its what your boss did So now all the players know if they want out no need to issue a transfer request just be an ass and take a holiday
If you want out of a job, being an ass has always been a way out. MY WORDS OF WISDOM IS LIKE FREE UNIVERSITY
I'll bet you he never even thought to ask for unpaid leave - probably expected to be paid for his extended holiday!
Jansson had to go, end of. Saiz and Jansson at their peak were immense but Saiz is the bigger loss as his type of player brings more to the team and is harder to replace.
