Well, if the Premier Club morphs into something else, or something more attractive is offered alongside it, meaning that the Swans get more of the cake (and the Ospreys less) then the Swans could benefit from his endeavours. But apart from that, and the potential Naming Rights - which they’ve/he has failed to secure So far - it’s hard to identify anything beneficial that he’s delivered
Pearlman should have gone at the same time as Jenkins imo......The both are the reason we are where we are..
I disagree , we are where we are because Jenkins and co didn't give a fling fig who they sold the Club to , the yanks were imo duped as much as we were , the difference being I don't give a fug for the yanks but I do the Club
Have to agree - selling the Club to a Hedge Fund - Yankee or otherwise - was always likely to end in ‘disaster’. Selling the club to a billionaire is no guarantee of success, but PE firms cut costs and look for a quick turnaround with minimum investment. Relegation has scuppered that plan....
Now then lets get realistic....It was the owners at the time that sold the club and not Jenkins or anyone else...I know you like to blame the likes of Jenkins and the yanks who negotiated with the owners who after a lengthy period came to an amicable agreement and a deal was done and dusted......It is like someone in my and my Bro's companies selling our businesses without our consent.....So try to be intelligent and make up stories for your own ends as it cannot happen....I'm Afraid the owners sold the club and nobody else...
Crap as usual Dai. Jenkins was a shareholder and therefore one of the owners I know one of the other former shareholders very well. He gave me the inside story
Not My circle of friends i have taffy boy you will never match as long as your arse points downwards If you think someone can sell your business from under your nose then i'm afraid you dont know anything about business
Genuine reply...If you dont know that then your not very bright and not worth replying with an answer.......Who did you think the owners were ..
What are you talking about, Dai Twp? The owners sold the Swans - ie Messrs Morgan, Jenkins, Dineen, Davies - I know 3 of these pretty well - et al sold the business. Or are you back tracking again, when it’s proven that you’re talking crap.
So I'm mistaken ? The owners of Swansea City at 2016 Trust 21.1% of the club Jenkins’ 13.2% Martin Morgan and his wife, Louisa, 23.7% stake, Brian Katzen, owns 10.5% of the club, as does his business partner, Jeffrey Crevoiserat; 10.5% Robert Davies,, also has a 10.5% stake. John van Zweden, and Leigh Dineen, ust over 5%, each .
Then I'm guessing he has neither , just him and his Bro (I've never heard a 60+ year old man calling a brother "Bro" , well not from Penclawdd ) Strange
So you think jenkins was an owner and the rest of them I know all of them well also probably much better than you....Morgan was the true owner who has the final say ..end of story.....The rest are share holders but not enough combined to have overall control and they were offered by tho owners to buy their control off them but nobody could afford too......It is just like the situation today where we have a lot of shareholders but it is the Americans who own the club......Morgan chose to sell the club. Every man and his dog knows that and the shareholders had the option to sell their shares if they wanted too just like they can now anytime they wanted..
