FC Massive Club Statement... “The club is disappointed to learn via public statement issued by Newcastle United that it has appointed former Sheffield Wednesday staff Steve Bruce, Steve Agnew and Stephen Clemence. “Regardless of the fact that the staff resigned from their positions with the club on Monday, there remains outstanding legal issues to be resolved between the club and the staff and Newcastle United. The club is currently considering its position and taking the appropriate legal advice.”
Well, I wished Bruce the best of luck earlier in this thread, but having read some of Newcastle fans comments and seeing they plan to protest against his appointment, they can all get ****ed and I hope he takes them down. Then Bruce comes back and gets us up under new ownership, beating Newcastle in the play-off final. That'll do.
They obviuosly hate Ashley but venting all that on Bruce is showing a complete lack if class. I don't know if I want him to do a great job just to prove them wrong or, like you say, take them down. Best scenario might be for him to have a great season, by their standards. End of season they're chanting him name as the team parade their 8th place finish rosette round the sports direct arena. Bruce picks up the mic and tells them to go **** themselves.
Newcastle have won nowt in years yet they still turnout in thousands home or away up at St James. Blind loyalty or simply football daft but that’s the kind of support most clubs directors can only dream of in my book.
Newcastle fans are the northern equivalent of Arsenal fans - needy, desperate and ****ish in the extreme.
Yeah, I'm with you on that. Almost the polar opposite of Arsenal. Except the fat guy who takes his shirt off. He's a ****. Oh, and Ashley is a **** too.
In full BCC mode - I didn't say they were, I said they were their equivalent; and that they are - they seem to feel that they some God given right to be at the top table of English football - they don't, and they aren't.
Arsenal are cheating bastards with ungracious fans who are never happy with their position, despite over-achieving for 20+ years. How they behaved when we played them, both team and fans was a ****ing embarrassment. Newcastle get on with it and support their team through relegation despite being continually shafted by a **** of an owner. Their fans don't **** on anyone other than Sunderland.
