Lack of height, lack of pace, lack of strength, lack of positional awareness, lack of confidence in possession, lack of anticipation. Other than that, he's world class.
Wouldn't even pack a suitcase, I'd be in a cab to the airport ASAP working out how I'm gonna start spending my money.
Wednesday were, but Mike Ashley has probably ****ed that one up for us In terms of Rose, I saw whispers of a PSG move Also... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Anyone else feeling more than a little confused by our transfer strategy at the moment? Sell Rose and Trippier, use Foyth, Aurier and Walker-Peters for right-back and... who at left-back and centre-half? If we can keep Alderweireld and sign a replacement for Rose, then we might be alright, I guess?
Add to that Eriksen and Toby both going to Singapore, when it seemed at one stage like they were more likely to be leaving than Rose, as well. I’m confident we have a plan up our sleeve, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s incomings all but sorted. I just hope the replacements we’re bringing in are up to it, at the very least.
#metoo NDombele + NEW CM was what I was hoping for. And yet, even with a big transfer kitty, why do I feel that this transfer window could go Spursy in an instant.
I'd hazard a guess and say either Firpo or Sessegnon will be brought in to replace Rose. As for Toby, word is we won't replace him as Dier will drop back into defence when necessary due to the expected strength in midfield we'll have if Lo Celso signs.
Here's a few scenarios that the usual blogs will likely run at some point a.) We finally clinch the Buy One Sessegnon Get One Half Price deal with Fulham that's been reported for months now b.) Some sort of double deal with Betis that sees us sign Lo Celso and Firpo (although Barca sniffing around Firpo makes that unlikely) c.) Suggestions of a swap deal with PSG, with Rose going one way and Meunier the other d.) Suggestions of a straight swap with PSG, with us swapping Rose and Kurzawa
The signing of NDombele was nice and early but since then it’s all gone rather quiet on the incoming. Ideally players would be on the pre season tour so they’re ready to go when the season starts. If we sign 2-3 right at the end of the window then we probably won’t see play until a few games in and by then could be playing catch up.
New signings have until December at the latest to be fully conditioned to the Pochettino fitness regime + pace of the PL.
West Ham supposedly want Wanyama if Obiang leaves (which is expected). I just hope they decide to skip the medical should they bid for Vic.
With the money I’d be earning, I’d be chilling with Kim Jong-Un in some private palace or some ****, smoking a Cohiba while a bunch of models massage us as we play FIFA.
Lots of talk that Fiorentina are about to offer Llorente a contract. TBH I'm amazed he hasn't been snapped up already. Showed at the absolute highest level against both City and Ajax that he can still contribute if deployed effectively. One of the newly promoted sides could do far, far worse than give him a year's contract.
@humanbeingincroydon if you could compile a dossier on this chap please, then we can have a discussion Thanks bruv
