Yeovil have a bigger problem at the back than us and that is difficult to do...As for the season ahead then if we dont sort out the set pieces and defend much better then we live on hope that there is a few teams with a worst defence than us as it is looking like a bottom half finish which i will be happy with as long as we stay out of the relegation places which is a strong possibility as things stand..
What are you watching. We play div2 clubs and in every game our set pieces and defending has been poor and better teams in the championship will walk all over us....On That bases
I seem to recall that on Tuesday 13 July 2010, we lost 2-0 away to Hereford in a pre-season friendly and a so-called Swans supporter was laughing at us...... Wonder what that same supporter was thinking when just 10 months later we beat Reading 4-2 at Wembley. Now, who was that so-called fan ? Pre-season friendlies are part of getting match fit/ready. Results are meaningless. Now, I’m not saying we will have a successful season with promotion at the end of it, but you cannot judge/predict a season based on pre-season friendlies.
Well thank you for that well thought out analytic appraisal of our forthcoming season .I bow to your superior knowledge
You can analyze our defence in pre season as it has been a shambles in past seasons and you look for improvement and as far as i'm concerned there has been none..So far..
I'm possibly wrong but wasn't it also Shrewsbury who beat us in the league cup that he seemed to take great delight in ?
We did play Yeovil of the National League and not League two. Just thought I’d put that bit of knowledge out there.
True....The club is in trouble i kid you not...Swans will be torn apart, That i have no doubt in the championship.....Tommy has a hell of a lot of work to do if that is the best we can do in defence....Get some defenders or get a better defender coach double quick or the club will be staring relegation in the face. They are a shambles....
I think you're posting this on the wrong board , try the perennial PL failures, that's exactly what they think about us as well.
You dress it up all you like ...We have big problems at the back and i wish tommy well but his schoolboy coaching skills will not be good enough for championship football...Mind you i wont lose any sleep over that i can assure you, But i would be happy if he does well but it is a long shot, a very long shot at that It is not his fault it is the clubs for putting a schoolboy coach who has no experience at all in championship football and playing these non league and div2 teams is giving him and fans false hope.....
Dai will you stop calling him a schoolboy coach and give the guy a chance. We haven't played one competitive game yet.
The England U17s team/squad that Cooper managed/coached to World Cup success comprised professional players from clubs such as Citeh, Chelsea, Liverpool, Wolves etc.
