perfect1.jpg Good Morning. It's Wednesday 17th July, and here are the Leeds Utd headlines

    Bielsa arrives in Australia

Bielsa has jetted off to Perth, just in time to watch his Yorkshire Whites take on the Reds of Lancashire!
The two sides have not met since 2011 when Leeds were soundly beaten 3-0 at Elland Road, yet the season before who could forget Beckford's magic as Manchester Utd were dumped out of the FA Cup.

    Expected starting line up:
Casilla, Douglas, Berardi, Cooper, Dallas, Forshaw, Phillips, Hernandez, Harrison, Bamford, Roofe

The game kicks off at midday our time. The bookies have Leeds at 6/1 for the win, 15/4 draw and 2/5 for a reds victory.

    Hernandez 'I'm not happy'

Pablo Hernandez has been speaking to the YEP about Pontus Jansson's transfer to Brentford.

“I lost a team-mate and a friend but this is football”
“This can happen. Teams change players. I have lived through this a lot of times in my career. This is football. “Obviously this is a big loss for us but other players come. Obviously I am not happy because we lost him. “I don’t think too much about it. The most important thing now is the players who are here and who play for Leeds United next season.”

For someone who was supposed to be such a disruptive influence on and off the pitch, Is it not strange that the majority of the team have sent heart felt messages to the Swede about how much he'll be missed?

    Bookies make Leeds firm favourites

Leeds are firm favourites at the bookies to win the Championship this coming season.
Bet3655 currently have Leeds at 9/2, with Fulham way behind them at 8/1 and Cardiff at 10/1.
West Brom, Stoke and Brentford are also in the mix!
If you wanted a less risky bet, the Whites are favourites for promotion next term at 7/4 whether it be automatically or via the play offs.
For Leeds to finish in the top 6, you'll only find odds of 8/15.

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

2 games to day as we play on both sides of the World in 2 match fitness games. Nothing means much except it gets the fans bouncing to see their heroes and with luck we dont get any injuries. You have to say that 3.6k fans to watch an open air training session was awesome and we can expect 6k travelling fans to watch the game in Perth today, which will be more than the manc fans took. There will be thousands of locals too who are Leeds fans and scummer fans too so the atmosphere will be great. Tadcaster have also sold out and we should field a strongish team

    Morning all..

I understand why we’re favourites but it’s a tag I’d prefer not to have.

I agree with your thoughts Elland, a senior player like Pablo saying what he said leaves you believing Pontus couldn’t have been that disruptive?

The press will take it out of context like they always do, asked if he is happy Pontus has left he explains the reason why the answer is no but they’ll put up the headline “Pablo Unhappy”...

    Bielsa

    Marcelo epitomises professionalism

    Pablo

Hernandez says it all, it's all poppycock that Pontus was a disruptive influence on his teammates, you only had to witness all the high-fives with his comrades. Pablo knows we've lost a top player

    Favourites

Don't take too much notice about the odds on a team to win the championship, a tag I'd rather do without we are there to be shot down. Norwich & Sheff Utd weren't favourites to go up.

The English & Scottish premiership odds are more accurate than the lower leagues

The Scottish Prem is a foregone conclusion.

Re Jansson, what about last Summer when the club tried to flog Jansson to that Russian outfit, and he went blabbing to the papers saying Leeds were selling him against his wishes!!!

Morning Doc, what do you think about the club charging their own fans £8 to watch a pre season game?

Problem here is that Man Utd own the rights to the game and you will find they are pretty good at stopping streams. leeds Utd cannot do much about it because they will be paying Man Utd for a feed. Hearing that one stream is ok so far from Nothing but Leeds

Good Morning to matt Doc and co from a slightly sunny Bardsey
Well Danny Rose has been left behind so fingers croosed he his sold very soon that would be a big boost to usas we are reported to have a sell on clause
Joey Barton has been charged with actual body harm and faces a prison sentence it could n't happen to a nicer man
Lets hope we put up a good show today and on the transfer front it would appear we are after an Irish lad playing for Inter Milan no doubt Doc can fill us in
His name which means nothing to me is Ryan Nolan
Hughill is joining Wigan for £3m so thank goodness we didn't buy him last season

Mike Ryan Nolan is captain of Inter Milan U19s and will be playing for the first team against Rapid Vienna in the Europa League tomoz. He has a year left on his contract and is being chased by Leciester and Brighton and Leeds Utd. He was born in Spain and plays for Ireland U19s and is a ball playing CB. Inter want to keep him but he wants to leave to get experience as he isnt breaking through in Milan yet.mfingers crossed he looks good

    Morning Mike

Ryan Nolan is a 19yo centre back.

He grew up in Spain, though obviously is Irish.

He has appeared for Ireland at U18 level.

Last term he Captained Inter's U19's who had a good run in Europe.

It's such a shame that they've runined that nice Paddy Power shirt with a tiny bit of Huddersfield on it...
