Being serious for a minute ... I'm not sure we'll actually bring in anyone if we do sell ... quite a few media sources saying this now ... and he's actually in the Match day squad at Scunthorpe tonight...

    Respect to him then ...

Big Wes and Huth's partnership was awesome ... but you could actually see their legs had gone pretty early on the following season ... Brenda has already said that Wes won't get many games this season

Jonny Evans for £3 million last summer was brilliant business tbf <cheers>

    I was serious mate.
If Maguire is happy to stay and not kicking up a fuss, you might as well keep him.
You’ve been mauled by the tigers sell on clause, biatch!

Just because you're serious about that pathetic prediction doesn't mean the rest of us are.

I'm not so confident to start throwing avatars around but I really think they'll challenge with that squad depending on what happens with Maguire.

Latest from Brendan last night .. "... we've had 2 bids (United and City) which don't meet our valuation ... until someone does, we just carry on ... business as usual" (paraphrased)

,Maguire played 2bd half of friendly last night ...

They'll no doubt beat a few of the big sides but they'll also drop points against a lot of average sides at home. 7th at best.

Some of the younger players are just getting better though, the keeper is decent, both full back good and getting better, Ndidi is solid, pace from Grey, Maddison and Perez have something about them and Vardy can still get them goals. Maguire still there at the moment as well. That's 9 players off the top of my head that are very good.

Edit: 8 I'm not a massive fan of Grey but he's quick so can cause problems.

It would be great if we could and there were some very positive signs towards the end of last season (highlight hammering the Goons for the first time in my lifetime) .... but if we can keep the majority of this young squad together, we should be even better over the next few seasons

You’ve only made that daft call as you love Brendan.

Once Maguire goes and Rodgers inflicts his ‘style’ on them, they’ll start sieving goals. They’ll play tippy tappy **** with plenty of hoofs into the channel for Vardy. No way they’re in the mix for top 4

I'm not a BR fan mate and got a lot of stick on our board for calling for his head very early. He's a decent coach but overall it's the players he's got that I think will see them really push this season. A lot depends on what they do with the Maguire money but spend it well and I think they'll be a very good side.

Was a 4-5-1 ... that might change with Perez ... got much better now ... just signed an exciting prospect (James Justin) who can play full back / wing back either side ... he could look to play him on the right and push the excellent Ricardo Pereira to further forward ... we look like having fantastic pace in the side
