Seems to be a lot of American tourists here. Not heard many English accent voices, hardly any to be true. But could be because i tend to go off route a lot so to speak.
Thing that took me by surprise was the humidity! My Italian friend told me it would be hot, but the humidity just finishes you off. Last time I experienced this sort of humidity was Miami.
Traditionally some but I think it's more the diners preference mate. There's probably upwards of 400 types of bread in Italy, some baked only in certain regions.
Made one stupid minor school boy error, used my debit card to purchase treno high speed tickets to Florence, i forgot you pick up additional charges that way. Need to use my CC.
I use a travel card from Tui just top it up from the bank account into the currency you need, you can pay contactless from your phone with it aswell.
Went in a Trattoria lunchtime, tried to go yesterday but forgot they are closed Mondays. I only wanted something simple for lunch, hence why i went there. Unfortunately i came across an English family on the next table and all they did was fooking moan and didn't know a word of Italian. I thought next time go to a restaurant!
