Won 3-2 seems it went a bit pear shaped when the youngsters were sent on and experience taken off. just need a bit more experience in our squad.
Poor defending yet again against lower opposition.....If the club dont sort it out it will be our downfall again. Championship teams will rip through our defence with relative ease.
Well that proves how thick you and taffy boy are then Mind you i and many others have always known that anyway..
Last time we won 3-2 at Crawley, we went on to have a great season winning the Cup etc., surely a good omen.....
Happy days , although imo friendlies are just that, an opportunity to let the coaches know what they need to work on , considering its a new coaching team then possibly not a bad idea , but where would we be without a bit of doom and gloom. "The coach made five changes just after the hour mark having already sent on six substitutes at the break, it means each of the players who travelled to West Sussex got some game-time" .
The Swans are playing Yeovil this evening. The match will be shown live on the Swans’ website. Cooper has made 4 changes to the starting line-up he selected at Crawley with Connor Roberts, Jay Fulton, Wayne Routledge and Bersant Celina all starting at Huish Park. Kyle Naughton, George Byers, Barrie McKay and Yan Dhanda drop to the bench, with Erwin Mulder and Joel Asoro included in the match day squad - Steven Benda and Liam Cullen missing out. Swansea City: Kristoffer Nordfeldt; Connor Roberts, Michael van der Hoorn, Joe Rodon, Jake Bidwell; Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes; Nathan Dyer, Bersant Celina, Wayne Routledge; Oli McBurnie. Subs: Erwin Mulder, Kyle Naughton, Declan John, Brandon Cooper, Cian Harries, George Byers, Jack Evans, Joel Asoro, Barrie McKay, Yan Dhanda, Courtney Baker-Richardson.
Our best line up imo. We need a better defence play tonight and should Yeovil score a couple of goals then we will have a difficult season ahead....A clean sheet is required to give any sort of hope...
Well that’s not giving to happen keeping a clean sheet. Yeovil pulled one back after going 2-0 and being very comfortable with some very neat football.
Still cant cope with set pieces and the defending is still poor. The positives are the passing and going forward which will be much harder in the championship....Work to be done big time at the back...
Not a bad 1st half their goal aside we could easily have had 4 or 5. Now for a changed line up in the 2nd half.
