How can these people avoid being sectioned ffs <laugh>

"Newcastle deserve fans from far and wide to unite in fight against Mike Ashley."

They're asking Arsenal supporters to boycott the game at SJP ...
... this despite the fact that 40,000+ of their own won't boycott the game.

Arsenal have had their own boycotts and protest, where were these brave Geordie freedom fighters then? Couldn't give a toss is the answer. Honestly these people are the biggest cry babies in football.

    And .....

Shock! A 30 year old footballer at a Championship club chooses a big money pay day move to China over playing in the Premier League or the Championship. We were never gonna pay £16m for him in all honesty. I'd hardly call it returning to haunt us either. He's not our player and never even started talks to sign him permanently since the season finished. If Rafa comes in for Longstaff then I'll be pissed and then he's returning to haunt us.

Rondon did a cracking job for us last year....when he eventually got going. Think he was a bit overweight and unfit when he arrived which took a while to get sorted. We don't look like we have much in the way of goals in us as a side at the moment and that needs to be sorted out in a very short space of time. Muto and Gayle doesn't fill me with a great deal of confidence.

Monty sure if th S is on but it’s rather amusing... at on TalkSport says “Bruce isn’t good enough
Completely logical thing to say - but some of your fans on twitter and talksport are doing their nut about it. It's all Mike Ashley's fault that Rondon went to china! Utter bollocks - it's because he wants a nice little nest egg to retire on at the end of his career.

Ah talksport, the veritable hotbed of football gossip. I stopped listening to that ages ago just wound me up. Brazil, Durham, Gough even Mickey Quinn just do my ****ing head in.....Adrian Durham has to be the worst though.

I think they're doing their nut because it's ****ing frustrating that there is such a simple answer to all of this (well two actually) and this was all completely avoidable.

    1. Invest in the club and the infrastructure and with the right management/coaching staff a top 10 finish season after season is not unreasonable along with a cup run.

    2. If you can't be arsed to do #1 then sell the **** up and move on and let someone else have a crack.

Don't get me wrong I'd have been ecstatic if Rondon had stayed. £16m isn't a lot nowadays for a proven premier league striker and he was fitting in well all of which takes time (half a season in his case last season).

Sadly for us at the minute, Rondon going to China is the ****ing least of our worries!!

The talkSPORT part of my comment was completely accidental. I was pissed last night and must’ve typed it and not posted!! Still that one oerson who said Bruce isn’t good enough was then questioned as to why. He replied “he was rubbish at Sunderland “ to which the presenter said “ he got them to the same place Benitez did Newcastle ” which was amusing!!

Oh and if you had a business which was making you a tidy profit year on year, would you sell it or keep running it. You want him gone, what if an Ellis Short comes in and you end up where we are. Ashley May be a **** but he’s a good businessman. He knows his stuff

I think Bruce will do a steady enough job at Newcastle. He's not a bad manager at all.

I absolutely agree. Think he'll be OK - he does love the club, but if it doesn't work out, they can sack him cos he used to manage Sunderland?

The way some Mags twist themselves inside out defending Saint Rafa is a little sad for grown men.

International transfers, especially to China, don't happen overnight. Its a complicated procedure with all kinds of work permits, visas, fit & proper person checks etc.

You can be absolutely sure that in April/May, when Benitez agreed to go to China he was negotiating with Rondon and his agent to join him.

There's no way of knowing if Newcastle wanted to sign the player and although it fits the Mag agenda to now claim there was no chance of that it's a real possibility.

He was player of the season, well paid and loved by the supporters who believed that was mutual. He was in excellent form and playing in the PL 'where everyone wants to play'. A 2/3 year contract followed by a 'Chinese payday' was more than possible.

If I was Ashley and found Benitez had tapped up one of their own players while both were under contract I'd have my solicitors drag his hypocritical fat arse through the courts.

I've always said be careful what you wish for and whilst I despise the bloke we are financially sound which is a lot more than can be said about the Hall/Shepherd tenure.

I'm prepared to reserve judgement as I've said many times. There's **** all we can do about it and it's not his fault that Ashley wants him. He'd be daft to turn it down, and whilst his motives could quite easily be questioned (i.e. why would you work for Ashley etc etc) it's a win win for him at the end of the day innit? He's obviously gonna ask for money to spend which he will undoubtedly be given. If he ****s it up he'll be gone (with a pay off), if he does a job then he keeps his job.

The football under Rafa in the early part of last season was ****ing horrible to watch, any improvement on that will do nicely for me. I'll be happy with a comfortable finish somewhere between 15th and 10th, if we can achieve that I think the vast majority of our fan base will be happy. Even if the football is ****e, like the guy on talksport says it's no different to how things were under Rafa.

Pity the shenanigans up the road are distracting us from some very solid work being done at the club. McGeady re-signed, some decent players brought in, expensive ones out, finances stable, etc. I'm more pleased with that than the bunch of arse occurring at the Sports Direct Arena, notwithstanding that it's ****ing hilarious :)

Not me mate, I've commented on the McGeady situation and other issues at our club, Willis etc.

Im sure people can multitask and post on both clubs. Some of the Mags post about Newcastle on their board then come on here to repeat exactly the same thing.

I'm sure if we were that interested we'd go over there to hear it ...

... except they ban anyone who makes them cry at playtime <laugh>

I've gone over and it's more a case of a resigned pessimism ATM. I like to prod them a bit now and then, but tend to avoid a blatant wum, so I'm not expecting a ban. Never know though... :)

Just read this...would be a right kick in nuts for Mrs Doubtfire is this was true.

"Tuesday lunchtime has seen shock reports from France, claiming that Bruno Genesio is going to be announced as the new Newcastle United manager.

The claim comes from Lyon based newspaper Le Progres who state that Genesio is now in England and set to sign for NUFC".

Bruce wouldn't have resigned without an offer in writing, so l can't believe there's anything to that...
