    I'd say his signings are better than those managed by Bennitz tbf and he didn't really spend vast amounts.

    I'd say Dubravka was his best signing.

    For Bruce I'd say Gyan.

    Yeh his signings were pretty good
    There is a few who performed quite well for us and after they left

    Brucie brought Valencia over from South America for Wigan. Hes pretty good at wheeling and dealing to he fair

    Bruce is an ok manager at getting in decent players to play a certain style of football. He's not as good as he thinks he is but he's not as bad as some make out.

    I went off him when he made a song and a dance about players being disloyal despite how he had shafted one or two clubs on the way up as a manager. He's a hypocrite and always comes across as pretty thick to me. He is at least in football still and has a lot of experience.

    Would he be good enough to keep us up? I doubt it. Our back line and keeper (if they stay) are good enough but getting our midfield to gel and supply whoever we are going to have up front is something anyone would struggle with.

    Bruce will have to pull in half a dozen new players and hope 3/4 do the business.

    Looks like you'll lose Longstaff, but he wasn't vital in survival over the last two seasons.

    Dubravka's loss would be harder to accommodate as Darlow just isn't a good PL keeper. How is Woodman?

    But there's enough in the squad to stay up, in my opinion, and Bruce will take the shackles off to some extent.

    It must have been rough on the squad to be continually told they weren't good enough and that only Rafa’s miracle working that kept them up.

    I think Bruce will do OK and the supporters need to realise that all managers are hypocrites, Benitez is no different imo.

    Dubravka is average, Mignolet is a better level, Bent,Gyan,Welbeck,Campbell ...... agents f@cked Bruce at Sunderland. He got god in but couldn't repair .
