    You could turn London into one mahoosive skate park with a sh.it ton of youth centres overflowing with decks and mixing desks with a never ending supply of chicken shops and discounted trainer warehouses but you will never stop the killing. The sooner The Community wakes up to the fact that there is something inherently f.ucked up with their yoot dem this level of violence will continue.

    I want to see Community leaders go public and condemn this sh.it, not use their 5 minutes on BBC London News to say everything is to do with budget cuts, white privilege and slavery and until every dark person gets their 40 acres and a mule that they won't stop.

    Pure mullyions of skate parks in a land down under and stabbings are so rare that the colony shuts down for a week of mourning if there's so much as a work related papercut which gets in the way of a quick surf during lunch break.

    Perhaps basketball courts and monkey bars in Newham Tower Hamlets Totrenham and Clapham .

    The mayor is expected to say at an event in south London: “The truth is if we allow children to be brought up in deprived conditions as a country, if we accept high rates of school exclusions, if we fail to tackle domestic and sexual violence, if we leave people in bad housing with a lack of employment and training opportunities, and if we decimate the very public services designed to support those most in need – as this government has systematically done – then crime is quite simply much more likely to flourish.”

    These were his targets as London Mayor before he got elected.

    Sadiq Khan's policies

    Housing
    First dibs on new homes for Londoners rather than overseas investors; affordable housing with rent set at a third of average local income

    Transport
    All TfL Underground, DLR and Overground fares will be frozen for four years; secure a funding deal for Crossrail; begin consultation about future rail services including Crossrail 3

    Crime and policing
    Zero-tolerance approach to hate crimes; recruit more police from BAME communities and drive down use of stop and search; tougher community payback for those caught with knives; supporting mainstream Muslims in challenging extremists

    Environment
    Expanding the proposed Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) to all of Zones 1 and 2, and out along primary commuter routes; reduction of energy consumption on the public transport network; plant two million trees by 2020; pedestrianising Oxford Street
