    I didn’t follow his career after he left Leeds but he was so good I assume he’s captain of Barcelona by now

    The internationals came back a week after the other lads, some voluntarily came back earlier than that to compete for their place, like BPF.

    Jansson allegedly insistently asked for a further week off. Bielsa saw commitment from some but not from Jansson. If he'd shown the committment Bielsa expected, he'd still be here.

    The remainers are paid primarily to succeed in the Championship, they're not guaranteed a jaunt to Australia if the club feels they need to be in Leeds training. After Jansson, I don't see anybody making too big a fuss at having to stay home, do you?

    Nothing wrong with the man management, it's the sort of FIFO approach you see in all sorts of private companies where everyone knows where they stand - fit in or f*** off.
