Fears two Tory MPs could defect to Lib Dems if Boris becomes PM

Boris will inherit a pile of **** from May. He isn’t going to be able to polish it into anything palatable.
    His promises are laughable

I watched a belated PMQ's maybe TM'S LAST? or MAY …. lol no pun intended . she have 1 more! She totally decimated Corbolliks .. who as I pointed out a few weeks ago has a back room staff of puppeteers who are ensuring or trying to change his scruffy village idiot persona ..with a "new mono toned dialogue"
Problem is if doesn't get the answers he needs to progress it becomes a progressive malarchy of trying to get things in context... the womble got the same treatment... when trying to state we are in recession! … he sat down like a scalded cat when it was pointed out the scots economy is teetering … and in retrospect of his "major companies abandoning the UK" .. WAS REALLY slapped down ..we have now had 5 major players stating massive multi £'s being to be invested in the uk over the next 2-5 years ….. uuuuuuummm not much being promised by those companies for Scotland though?.. [ being half Scots, with greater number of family living there, i treat this geezer and the SNP WITH distain ]

I disliked anybody of any political persuasion who defects, it shows complete contempt for the voters imo. Any MP who feels that strongly should put themselves up for re-election, most people vote for the party they represent not the individual MP

Lies? Broken promises? Stupid promises that can’t possibly be fulfilled? Avoiding questions? Half-truths? Wild accusations? Putting own ambition above what’s best for the country? Spin? Ignoring the people?....

Sounds like another day in politics to me !!!

Nothing to see here - move along please........

Whoever wins this ballot of conservative party members will have the 3rd most influence on this country behind God and Trump.

Decision making hasn't been a strong point of recent UK governments of whatever colour, and when actually made have often been a disaster - Blair on Iraq through to May calling a GE recently are typical. Far too much depends on other factors beyond our control and in the hands of others to whom we often acquiesce.

Having said that, neither of them can do much worse than May who has participated over a 2 year farce.

I just hope Boris is strong and decisive we don’t need a week PM.
As said previously he can become a hero if he deals with this correctly.

Boris and hero aren’t two words that will ever go on one sentence. Apart from to say he isn’t one.

Only a General Election will break the impasse.
Boris might fool some into thinking he’s a knight in shining armour, but - guess what folks - he wont have any more of a majority in the commons then May. That makes him EXACTLY as impotent.

Yes - but I meant he would need a GE to get it. Without a GE it’s exactly the same as with May now. A minority government being propped up by the DUP - who HATE Brexit.

That same Corbyn completely ****ed up the Tory majority last time around. With the Brexit Party getting larger, the Tories are going to be decimated in the next election - it will be another minority government which will leave us in the exact same **** position no matter who 'wins'.

As I remember a referendum was called because MPs couldn't agree a way forward.
The 'country will have to decide'.

The MPs didn't like the result and have then made sure the 'country' have been shafted.

FFS, what's a GE going to prove.

R&W, do you enjoy going round in circles?
