Here's an easy one now. This is a Gillingham one.

It was probably Thomas Holy last season, I.d guess it might be Ehmer now.

The board goes into anarchy when one rebel poster arrives. Feathers have been ruffled. <laugh>

In terms of grumpy's question that was ignored, wasn't it Jus Fontaine who got the WC final hattrick?

    Are they Canary feathers? :emoticon-0136-giggl

Not sure if this one is a whoosh or not, whilst Just Fontaine was a incredible player, he did indeed score a hattrick in a world cup, but it wasn't in a final.
brb gave it away when he used those immortal words "they think it's all over" ..........Geoff Hurst.

Let's try a nice easy question:-

Which British team has won the European Cup more times than its own top league

    Would that be Forest?
Won the European cup twice, but only won the league once. They qualified for the European cup the 2nd time as holders.
    That's when football was decent.
Euorpean nights and the odd F.A cup replay were the only midweek matches

Kevin Keegan, Ray Clemence and Ian Botham

But you probably have to have been around when Beefy was playing to get the last one (unless you Google it)

Here's a football trivia question that is one of my personal favourites and kudos if you can get this one.

Which player has played in the Manchester Derby, the Merseyside Derby, the Tyne and Wear Derby, North London Derby and West London Derby?

Not the answer you're looking for but Graig Bellamy has certainly played in a few.
    East Anglia (Norwich/Ipswich)

    East Midlands (Coventry/Leicester)

    Merseyside (Liverpool/Everton)

    Tyne&Wear (Newcastle/Sunderland)

    Tyne/Tees (Newcastle/Middlesbrough)

    Old Firm (Rangers/Celtic)

    Lancashire (Blackburn/Bolton)

    Manchester (United/City)

    South Wales (Cardiff/Swansea)

    Severnside (Cardiff/Bristol)

I'd be surprised if anyone gets it without asking Mr.Google.
I could think of several who have 4 out of 5 derbies - but couldn't get the answer.

Only two names i could come up with were...

Gazza clearly not right, would never have played in a Manchester Derby. But was at Everton, Spurs and Toon.

Closest I could come was Beardsley but can't think of him at a North London club.
