Well watching the Semi final, why are there so Many empty seats. Is it only the posh ones empty again.
I know they used their challenge or whatever it is called, what I don't understand is Roy was clearly not out and everyone saw it, surely it has to be reversed.
I assume that decision has to be made by the umpire, without reliance on any TV playbacks. If his initial decision is "out" and a team has no more challenges, then the decision is "out". If they have too many challenges the game would become too disrupted. .
Was the most tense cricket match I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen over 2 matches. What I will say is that England got all the luck you could ever wish for. That one guy was caught but it was given as a six because the guy’s foot who caught the ball touched the things around the perimeter. I don’t know much about cricket but to me a catch is a catch and that guy should be out. Then when the ball hit that blokes bat from the throw by the fielder and it went to the edge of the field they were given another 6. I knew then that there was no way England and Wales we’re going to lose. They even scored the same number of points in extra time ! I’d feel totally gutted if I was a kiwi, but they have far too many terrible moustaches to be champions anyway.
Law changes and mistakes led to England’s win. In the good old days, before “super overs” were invented”, New Zealand would have won the World Cup as they scored 241-8 while England scored 241 all out. Additionally, the umpires gave England a little more help than they should have! .....https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...-cricket-world-cup-final-six-runs-new-zealand
