Olmo Watch Olmo's agent has told Mundo Deportivo that a deal will be sorted out soon...while namechecking us, Saltypool and Bayern as his likely destination, almost as if he's trying to screw a little extra comission Lower League Rando Watch Apparently we're not finished with Leeds yet, as we're now being linked with defensive midfielder Kalvin Phillips - although with them quoting £30m, I doubt we'll be linked with him for much longer, even when considering the £20m we were quoted for Jack Clarke turned into the £8.5m we paid
Some suggestion that Nabil Fekir could be joining Real Betis, which would be a bit of an odd move. That would clear the way for Lo Celso to leave if it were true, though.
He's only got a year left on his contract, there's a supposed release clause of £25m and he failed a medical with Liverpool.
Roma don't want to pay Alderweireld's release clause and they want Levy to reduce the fee by about half, apparently. I really don't get this whole thing, honestly. Offer him a new deal and tell the Italians to **** off. Cheeky ****s.
Something tells me that Roma aren't mentioned repeatedly in this video due to random selection. Not sure about some of their maths, but it's an interesting take on the recent attempts by Italian clubs to attract talent.
I get the feeling he just doesn't want to be here. Not that he's unhappy or anything and whilst I initially thought he was chasing a big pay cheque, I now think he's leaning towards just wanting a new challenge. Played in Holland, Spain and England, maybe Italy's on his agenda hence the Roma stuff(?), although until they pay that £25m, they can well and truly get to ****, it's a bargain as it is.
As I said earlier, first Baldini wasted a ****load of the club's money, now he's wasting our time by playing silly buggers
Exodus Watch Today's team linked with Trippier is...Bayern Munich? Fair play to his agent, he's doing incredibly to get Juve, Napoli, Atletico and now Bayern interested
That would explain them trying to push the fee up, as < standard > Levy add-on clauses means they will get less from the initial payments.
So Fekir’s on the verge of joining Betis, which could pave the way for us getting Lo Celso. Dani Ceballos is seemingly still an option and more rumours this morning saying Zaniolo is ready to leave Roma with us having supposedly offered around £25m plus Toby. Quite looking forward to our revolutionary 2-6-2 formation this season. Hugo Dave, Jan Zaniolo, Ndombele, Sissoko, Ceballos, Lo Celso, Alli Son, Kane Let’s ‘ave it.
Zaniolo Watch Italian sources (of a somewhat dubious nature...) suggest that Nicolo Zaniolo has agreed to a move, and we're currently trying to thrash out a £27m + Toby package to get the deal across the line...although Zaniolo is supposedly waiting for Juventus to make a bid, which is a little presumptuous given that would involve a transfer fee Betis Raid Watch Gio Lo Celso isn't the only Betis player we've been linked with this summer, as Diario de Sevilla are linking us with their Dominican left wingback Junior Firpo Definitely Not Agent Talk... We've also one of the myriad of clubs who've been linked with CSKA striker Fedor Chalov, which has nothing to do with his agent noticing he scored 15 goals in 30 league games last season and CSKA might want to make him an offer in case he leaves (and before anyone presumes, he doesn't have a dodgy Russian agent - he's got the same agent as Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, James Madison and Ashley Young...and nothing says an agent's above board like finding out their office is above an Indian restaurant on Wardour Street) Barella Watch
Always this arrogant notion that Euro players find the PL irresistible, and never want to stay in their home nation to play. "Definitely Not Agent Talk... ... he doesn't have a dodgy Russian agent - he's got the same agent as Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, James Madison and Ashley Young... and nothing says an agent's above board like finding out their office is above an Indian restaurant on Wardour Street)" Soho is a Tardis of premises (all kinds of exotic places there) . I would be more concerned if the office doorway has "Football agent 1st floor, Model 2nd floor" written on the door/intercom.
I will go on record and say that injury plagues aside, we will get an even GOATer season from him as : 1. the need for him to play all those minutes will be lessened with NDombele in the squad (even more so if we could get 2016-17 Wanyama back) , so we will get even more concentrated beastliness 2. he fully understands the base level beastliness of his play, and can work to improve on weaknesses (his shooting for starters) .
