If you guys keep this up I might stop posting here. However, that's only because you'll all destroy your own discussions and debates with these derailments to the point where there's nothing on here worth posting about anymore.

For the sake of football itself, if you don't like any of my views, whether they're nice or not, just put me on ignore and shut your face. Please. I'm here purely to have a bit if football debate with some of the nicer blokes on here. What I'm not a fan of is the angry flecks of ****e who keep getting in my way of this otherwise enjoyable activity. Just hit the ignore button.

I find it funny that you actually think you are clever and have a comeback for almost anything. You must have such a boring life, surely?

Seriously, WTF is up with you lot? Is it now a criminal offence for opposition supporters to come on you board for a bit craic? I don't think he's gone OTT at all. Settle down lads FFS.

I love how this all blew up when I merely said this on a thread about Wes Brown:

And then kaboom. I mean come on. What's the point? <doh>. Feel free to have a go if I have a dig or try to argue with someone, but **** me, if you're just going to attack every single thing I ever say, even if it's the most unoffensive and uncontroversial comment ever (like my original post on here) then it just gets boring and screws up your own discussions. Give it a bloody rest and put me on ignore so I can have a bit crack on with the nicer mackems.

Browns mentality along with O'Shea when fit will. IMO, be what takes us forward. I imagine both will make lots of noise on the training ground

I don't really post that much but god it's getting tiresome.. Honestly, the vast majority of Chappaz's posts are decent and relevant to the thread. Admittedly sometimes he wums and sometimes his posts are not greatly informed, but he's a newcastle supporter, what do you expect? Except more and more often nowdays his posts are just defending himself from random baseless abuse. I don't get the massive anti-mag mentality on here. A bit of banter is fine but some people are just ruining this forum imo (and I'm not referring to the mags). I may be mistaken here but wasn't it syd who invited them over in the first place for a bit of crack?

A while back I literally saw a post from a mackem along the lines of "I actually agree with you but your a filthy mag bastard so go back to your own ****ing board you ****". It's just embarrassing. What's the point? Not to name names but some Sunderland supporters on here really are quite pathetic.

Oh and on topic, I don't really think Brown was lucky, just a good piece of business. I don't get how whenever Bruce does something good (finishing 10th, signing good players, etc) it's nothing but luck, but when something bad happens (injuries, players leaving, inability to meet wage demands, etc) it's always "typical bruce" :/

Mr RAW, Cestriamackem, Syd, Cyprusmackem. These are the main few, and they have followers who will make constant abuse no matter what you have said, just for their own entertainment.

    Chappaz,
As far as I'm concerned, you are very welcome to come on to the Sunderland board. I find that your presence enriches the discussion as I am happy to see the point of view of a sensible, non-Sunderland supporter. Your being a Newcastle supporter, of course, adds to the "charm".

    Billy Death and Master Simpson,
I'll be really sorry to see you leave the forum because, like Chappaz (among many others), you bring a certain character to it but if your absence puts an end to slagging matches, so be it - but sad.

Any idiot can go and buy the BEST talent available - if the money is there - but SB's transfer dealings have been on the whole good. Yes we/you can quote in rebuttal to that, Angeleri, Riveros, Da Silva, Kilgallon, but that in turn has to be more than balanced by the likes of Brown, Bramble, Bent, etc. Some players may have left, mind getting rid of - and a £1.4m fee - for Murphy elevates him to the mystic wheeler dealer level imho, but keeping players is different to signing them.

There's nothing wrong in commenting on opposing fans boards now and again but chappaz comments on like most of the discussions, and he isn't a Sunderland fan so his views arnt really cared for. And then he wums and then it goes from there. The point is, he's a Newcastle fan, but seems to spend the majority of his time on here, why? It's like weird lol.

OK mate, put it this way, we can all be mates just like down the pub right.

However just like any pub sometimes things kick off & people fall out. Sometimes fists fly.

When people are hurting sometimes they take things the wrong way by assuming some are on the wind up.

Even so, sometimes they are in no mood for piss takers.

    Nee offence.

To be fair, MrRAWhite has become pretty canny lately. I haven't seen him participate in any unprovoked ****-flinging in a long while.

I would say that master-simpson is the worst, but considering that 99% of his posts are just trolling, I don't count him as a genuine member. He's just a meat-based robot which continually fires out dollar signs and asterisks with the occasional word or two.

Well said fellas. That's too refreshing to hear. I know for a fact there are some genuinely nice blokes on the Sunderland side who just like some footballing discussion, and that's the only reason I really post here. If it was just full of idiots insulting each other in it's entirety I wouldn't bother.

However, having to fight through the ****-flingers just to be able to speak to the nicer folk is an exhausting task I'd rather do without. Therefore, I present many of you with the ignore feature. Go and use it.

    WHAT??!!

Just for the record, these four are among the posters I appreciate the most. I find they are sometimes "robust" in their comments but very often when I read one of their posts, I think to myself: "Wish I'd written that!"
You just have to look at the number of responses they get to their posts to realise that they've got their finger on the pulse of the majority of Sunderland supporters.

I think it's far too early to judge what is virtually a new team....Also, Bruce chose to sign Brown, so why not say it is good judgement rather than luck?

I resent that remark and refute it completely.
If you could show me some evidence of my "constant abuse" I will of course apologize. Otherwise you can **** rite off you idiotic ****.

you can easily say that as you know no one is really going to bother to look through other posts just to find you abusing people.
