    At least they are getting something right valuing Longstaff at £50m,in an ideal world that means hands off,the future of Newcastle,build the team around him etc but the cynic in me means they'll sell for around the £30m mark,manure value him between £18-20m.

    Whether its part of football or not I wont agree with it .

    Plus it’ll just go in fatty’s pockets which is even more ****ing annoying! They’ll try and bury it and say they’re getting paid over 3 years and in 4-5 years time we’ll still be asking where the **** the £80m from Perez and Longstaff went, along with the TV money!

    And indeed, points per game in the Premier league for Rafa at Newcastle is about 1.18.
    Like Rafa, I like Bruce, but he would not be my choice.
    Having said that, I think he will do OK. He is far more suited to the organic growth model that non-billionaire owned small clubs in the Premier league have used to achieve success.

    I am sure he will get the support of all of those fans not on the boycott train. He will have mine.
