If Big Sam was approached and Bruce is favourite, it just shows how out of touch and archaic our club is - really reinforces the challenges that Rafa must have had with dealing with them.

They're going for a well known lower Premiership manager as a 'safe bet' - exactly the kind of decision that shows the lack of ambition we have.

If i was Dubravka, Lejuene, Schar or Almiron, I'd be looking straight to the exit door. Clearly there is no ambition to progress and we shouldn't' expect the loyalty of our players if the club isn't showing them that.

It is noticeable that few of us are going full meltdown on this but are more just actually having a laugh about it. Its so bizarre that everyone seems to be so bemused about the takeover and managerial rumours that we aren't getting uptight about the complete lack of incoming transfer activity.

The board also seems to be busier than normal at this time of year although I suspect most of the new members posting on here are Pouchy Marks 72 -77.

Yeah, if Bruce gets announced as the new manager then that's me done with the club, I'll put a map of Germany on the wall and chuck a dart at it to pick a new club to support because at least German teams seem to have a modicum of respect for their fans.
