I know it's only York and a bit of a training drill but Harrison looks like a different player. He had more venom in that second strike than he mustered for the most part of last season. Encouraging signs along with Douglas. When you add Costa and Alioski into the mix, I get the feeling we could be a more potent threat up front this season.
I’ll add I know it’s only a friendly and away to York and means fook all but... it’s nice to have some continuity finally. Normally a pre-season game has always been what’s this new player going to be like, what system will the new manager use etc. It’s nice to see them come out and know each other and how to play the system. But it is only a friendly and it does mean fook all
Just to put things in perspective, that McNulty at the back for York has got to be nudging 50 years old and 20 stone
Evening troops - as soon as it started it was big sigh and relax time, I know it's only a friendly at York but just seeing the lads doing their thing relieved a lot of Phillips/Roofe inspired tension. McCalmont. Baller.
This commentator is a big improvement on the one we had last year - hopefully he went to Brentford as well and this one stays
