pontefract,3 15: the feature race on the card,and some nice fillies on show here.i like CLON COULIS a lot,and she won this really well 12 months ago,albeit from a 8 lbr lower mark.but she has progressed into a top miler for her yard,and lost out only by a whisker in the royal hunt cup at ascot.also does spencer get on very well with her,and she arrives here a relatively fresh horse after just three starts this season.so,all in all,very solid shout today.
pontefract,3 45: SANDRAS SECRET could be a big player here.shes shown last season,that she can handle big rises in the weights,as she had a profitable summer,and the assessor is showing some relent now.also has the plum draw today,which is a further plus,so if she can raise her game a bit,should be involved here..
