Surely the longer this alleged takeover drags on... the more the value of the club decreases as players aren’t signed, pre season isn’t productive etc... Literally each day in limbo which passes has got to be a few million off the asking price... surely the Arabs can see this? What about fatso. He should see this? His alleged deadline of the 4th July has now passed so is he really willing to let the club sleep walk towards relegation like this? If it were me i’d Put out a statement saying there’s 72 hours left for a deal to complete otherwise it will need to be renegotiated at a later date and then crack on with normal club business.
He doesn’t want to sell though and why would he. It’s making a profit. He doesn’t need to put any money in. He gets his advertising for free. What more could you want?
He'll only push the panic button in January if he needs to keep us in the league. He'll be quite happy to buy 2 or 3 players late in the window and chance it like every year. The takeover talk sedates us as fans every year. Mike is happy to let that drag on.
