He’s definitely taking the taps, he’s been to B&Q today for a pack of stop-ends.

Grinding down the old grout to a powder to mix up again and reuse it.

 

I bought a building society repossession back in the mid 90's, as a refurbishment project and the previous owners took the staircase. I can only assume that they had put a new staircase in at some point and when it all went tits up, decided that was going with them!

 

Expensive clobber doesn't buy itself...man gotta save money somehow

 

To be fair, if I had my house repossessed I'd ****ing strip it bare and just leave the brick work and ceiling joists.

 

That’s extreme

I’ve seen repos where they’ve taken skirtings and door architraves, but never a ****ing staircase.

 

I've only ever bought 4 as repossessions and that was probably the most extreme. 3 of them had the kitchen or part of it, doors, fireplaces, boiler and rads taken.
