I always rated Gini to be honest. I know some thought he was a bit fairweather and he could be. However he was one of the natural looking footballers I've seen at us in recent years. I thought he had a touch of class and that was a stellar first season really when you think how foreigners usually fair first up. He does nothing badly, very good all rounder for me. Plus his versatility is great asset to any squad.
Just trolling one of their boards to get a feel for the mood.....I don't think they're gonna be happy ! Can't wait until I get to the bit where they find out the £30m transfer fee
Perez is going to be a replacement for Okazaki isn't he? He must be 26/27, similar type of player in that he can do a job in a few positions. He's not as fast or hard working, but technically he's better. I await Leicester fans pulling their teeth out as he is pushed over by a breeze sixty times a match. We won't see a bean of any transfer fee, so not bothered whether it is £30 or £30 million, at the end of the day we're losing a first team player.
Okazaki kept getting tripped over by the grass so Perez couldnt be any worse Yh Shinji has been released so Perez will be his replacement and cover for Vardy
I'm going to quote this back to you in about 6 months mate Must be nice supporting a forward thinking club anyway.
Just shows how important owners are. We was going nowhere fast in the championship before Vichai brought us Everything we have achieved and our ambition is all down to him. Everything we are doing now is his legacy. Our new £70M training ground opens next season and then were developing the King Power Once Ashley has eventually gone you lot will grow again. If you look at Tottenham as a club they have nothing that you lot dont have other then a good owner
Our Chairman, Penfold, will tell you no-one ever turned Newcastle down due to our training facilities being a few years out of date.... No, it’s usually the lousy wages we offer...
Just a thought but surely the transfer kitty has/will when Perez is sold gone up by £30M or whatever proportion is paid in year one plus Perez’s salary for the remaining time on his contract. If it’s taken into account on purchases then it has to be taken into account on sales.
30m ain't the going rate for Perez fella. He's not a bad player by any stretch and despite his age, I still think there is untapped potential there. We've not been a great place for him to develop. Better players will make him look better I think. Even in todays market, for 30m you'd want more of a guarantee on what you're buying. 20m? Even that sounds extreme but in terms of his value to us, his good spell last year and the potential untapped, I think would be about market value. Most NUFC fans would take 20m if it were getting reinvested put it that way. At 30m its a bit bewildering but if reports are true and he has a release clause, maybe Leicester felt it was the only way to get him out.
I cant believe the fans banging on about the first half of last season .. Look at our fixtures Our tactics Consider confidence Nobody played well but you singled out the player thats been top scorer last 2 seasons that tackles more than a midfielder. ****ers with squirels teeth
