I’m happy with this. He’s been great for us and it’s a great deal for Leicester. We got a top player for a couple of years and we’ve made a huge profit which will no doubt be invested wisely yet again. The team won’t actually miss him much as <name of random, unproven player> is a ready made replacement.
A fee rarely represents the player’s value to the buyer, it’s more to do with how much it takes to prise him away from rich owners who don’t need to sell. You should know that better than anybody.
Definitely Toby. Maguire is suited to a team from 5th to 10th. I don't think he's going to help push them into the top 4.
Apart from the fact that the only thing we have discussed is a player who’s contract expires in 12 months and another one who has a £25m release clause. #LevyNeedsToSell
Yeah, love the way he mugged off the gullible Toon fans with his sob story and then accepted a multi million pound job the next ****ing day. Who actually buys this blokes bullshit?
Bruno Fernandes to United looks almost done, interesting to get @Skylarker thoughts on this since he ****ed himself into a hot mess over bookies odds last week when he thought he’d be going to Anfield. Werld Class.
As the article says, it was a pretty crass attempt to destabilise the player. Even had his brother chipping in to try and tell Palace they should sell.
